A peek inside!
As always, a 2-sided info card listed all of the items inside this month’s box, along with photos and brief descriptions for each one.
I’ve noticed that more often than not, if something is labeled as keto, it’s usually not vegan. So it was a nice surprise to see that these cookie dough flavored “keto bites” were actually both vegan-friendly and gluten-free. Each low-carb bar has 6 grams of protein, 1 gram of sugar, and 1 net carb. Two different flavors were included in this month’s box: White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie Dough & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
This handcrafted chocolate bar is made with stone ground Arriba cocoa beans and sweetened with a blend of erythritol and monk fruit extract. It’s vegan, gluten-free, and has a glycemic index of zero. It also has 40% fewer calories than most standard chocolate bars.
Another keto-friendly item, this chewy cookie is described as being reminiscent of mint chocolate chip ice cream coupled with chocolate lava cake. It’s made with all natural ingredients including grass-fed butter, and contains no palm oil or soy. Each cookie has just 1 gram of sugar and 4 grams of net carbs. It’s also non-GMO and gluten-free.
A crunchy, low-carb snack made only with 100% all natural Wisconsin cheddar cheese. Each serving has as much protein & calcium as a glass of milk and contains no MSG, wheat, or sugar. It also has just 95 calories per pack.
I’m pretty sure Sleek Treat has featured other products from this brand, but this is the first one that I recall being vegan-friendly (yay!). The plant-based, keto-friendly bar is made with natural ingredients including almonds, cashews, pea protein, MCT powder, cinnamon, and sea salt. It’s high in both protein & fiber and has just 1 gram of sugar & 4 grams of net carbs.
KetoFit Chocolate Nutrition Bar
Specifically formulated for a ketogenic diet, this chocolate flavored nutrition bar is made with the exact ratios of healthy fats, proteins, and carbs required for the plan. Ingredients include organic almond butter, grass fed collagen, MCT oil powder, and organic coconut oil. It’s gluten-free, non-GMO, and has just 3 grams of net carbs per serving.
These fruit-flavored gummy supplements are vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten free. They contain 0 grams of sugar and are high in both protein & fiber. I’ve had them a few times before and they’re pretty good. 🙂
October’s Sleek Treat box had a nice selection of both keto-friendly and vegan-friendly snacks & sweets. My personal favorites this time were the BHŪ Keto Cookie Dough Keto Bites, Buff Bake Cinnamon Crunch Bar, and Herbaland Vegan Protein Gummies. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “T1D10“!
