Once again, I’ve been finding myself questioning the purpose of this blog and what I’d like it to become. What started out as a documentation of my pregnancy has somehow turned into a straight-up “box review blog”. While I love doing reviews (I really do!), I feel bad leaving the girls out. On the other hand, I don’t expect too many people (outside of my family) to really give a rip about the daily goings-on of my babies. I don’t know… I guess I’m just struggling with finding a good balance.
Okay, enough rambling…

The girls will be ONE in less than a week. How the hell did that happen!?
Went shopping yesterday for last-minute party supplies. I’m certainly no “Pinterest-obsessed” mom, and I’m sure as hell not gonna go overboard on a 1-year old’s party. That said, their “theme” is pink, with a touch of Yo Gabba Gabba. 😉
We took a family stroll to the library mid-week to pick up some CDs I had on reserve (let’s just say that they go nicely with the party theme). The girls weren’t down with the whole “library=quiet” thing, so Mike had to take them outside. Tssk, tssk.
We’ve been watching a whole lotta “Bonnie Bear” lately. The girls love it. We… don’t. (It’s on Netflix instant queue. I challenge you to watch one “episode” and NOT get the music stuck in your head. Or the flamboyant gramophones’ voice.) Ah, parenthood.
