I See Me! is a retail site that offers children’s books that are not only beautifully illustrated, but are also personalized with your child’s name, birthday, and more! How cool is that?
In addition to books, I See Me! also offers a wide range of fun, gift-worthy items — growth charts, coloring books, placemats, stickers, lunchboxes — all personalized for your little one!
Confession time! When I named my “2 little rosebuds”, I (kinda guiltily) knew I was giving one of them a bit of a disadvantage, name-wise. Now, Chloe is a pretty common name, so she’ll be alright… But Everly? Yeaaah… that’s a name I’m not gonna find on a personalized… well, anything… anytime soon. That said, I was more than happy when I See Me! offered us a personalized book for twins. Although she’s too young to appreciate it right now, I know Everly is going to LOVE seeing her name in print soon enough!
The book I received is called “Who Loves Me?” and can be personalized for singletons, siblings, and in our case, twins. 🙂
Personalizing the book was easy-peasy. When I placed my order, I simply provided the information required — child’s name(s), birthdate, relatives, and a photo — and sat back and waited for it to arrive on my doorstep.
The first page included a dedication, along with a photo of the girls, their birthday, and the date the book was created. This page is fully customizable and most of the fields are optional. I personally love how it turned out — I used a picture from their first birthday and it’s so neat to see it “in print”. 🙂 (Note: The photo of the girls isn’t as saturated as it appears here… Blame my poor photo editing skills!)
Everly enjoys it too! Though she didn’t enjoy it quite as much as she would have liked, since I still can’t trust her with “non-board book” pages just yet. Ah, toddlers.
The book poses the question “Who loves Everly and Chloe?” on each page spread (six total) and then answers with the name(s) of each relative that you indicated upon ordering. I chose to use “mommy”, “daddy”, 3 sets of grandparents, and “your aunts, uncles, and cousins”. There was a maximum amount of characters you could use for each “name”, but I had no problem fitting all of ours in.
The illustrations are beautifully done and full of bright colors to grab your little one’s attention. Each page spread includes a sweet little rhyming verse. The personalized pages are on the left, the end of each verse on the right.
Evie likes the big red bird. 🙂
Chloe checked out the book too, but she wasn’t quite as… cooperative. haha
…The End.
I was VERY impressed with my I See Me! experience. The book was just as I had hoped it would be: Hardcover format, beautiful illustrations, no spelling errors (hey, ya never know!), sweet verses… perfect!
