I was recently contacted by Earnest Eats after they found a review I did of one of their baked whole food bars (so good!). They wanted to know if I’d be interested in reviewing their new Hot & Fit Cereal line. Since I was already a fan of their yum-tastic food bars, I gladly accepted the offer.
Earnest Eats prides itself on only using high quality, all natural whole foods in each of their products. They’re not down with artificial anything! You can be sure that you’re not gonna find any crazypants ingredients that you can’t pronounce in any of their offerings. Well, except maybe “korintje cinnamon”. That one’s a little tough. 😉
Oh, and did I mention that all of their products are vegan? Heck yes, they are!
So here’s the goodies that they sent me for review:
Hot & Fit Cereals come in 3 different distinct flavors:
Mayan Blend – Cocoa + Cashews + Pepitas
Asia Blend – Mango + Green Tea + Sesame Seeds
American Blend – Cranberries + Almonds + Flax
Like any conventional hot cereal, you simply add water or your milk of choice (soy for me!). Yet unlike the conventional hot cereals, these ones are full of superfood grains and flavorful ingredients. No boring mush here!
I’ll admit that I tend to be on the “unadventurous” side when it comes to food, so I was partial to the American Blend. I liked the hearty mix of cranberries and almonds, with the added health benefits of flax seed. Gotta get those omega 3’s!
The nice folks at Earnest Eats have agreed to let me do a giveaway in which the lucky winner will receive all 3 tins of Hot & Fit to try for themselves!
To enter, just click the image below and scroll on down to the Rafflecopter! Easy!
Disclosure: I was sent samples of cereal to review. I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions are my own. Contest open to US residents only, 18+. Prize fulfillment to be handled directly by Earnest Eats.

My go-to healthy breakfast is usually gluten-free oatmeal with fresh berries and a drizzle of raw honey on top. These cereals look really good. I’m always looking for new breakfast foods to try.

I love oatmeal! I’ve seen this and really wanted to try it. I usually have it at night though because it’s warm and calming. In the morning I”ll do whatever fruit I have usually in a bowl of almond milk and a “cereal” of nuts, trail mix, coconut, and/ or peanut butter.

My go-to healthy breakfast depends on the season! 🙂
In fall and winter, I have oatmeal mixed with all kinds of yummy add-ins– carrot cake oatmeal, pumpkin pie oatmeal, peanut butter oatmeal, chai spice oatmeal, oatmeal with a poached egg, etc etc etc.
In spring and summer, I switch to cereal (mostly Bare Naked Fit, Kashi, or Trader Joe’s) with some plain Greek yogurt or kefir with fresh berries. Yum!
