My July Gourmet Body Treats review and giveaway went over so well, that they offered to send me August’s box AND another chance for my readers (that’s you!) to win a box of their own! Yay!
If you’re not aware, Gourmet Body Treats is small, family-owned beauty/cosmetics company dedicated to providing quality products that are not only effective, but also 100% cruelty-free.
They offer a large selection of natural body care products and cosmetics including mascara, lipstick, body scrubs, soaps, and more. They even have biodegradable pencil sharpeners (I didn’t even know those existed!). All of their products are vegan, cruelty free, kid-safe, and made right here in the USA (Texas, to be exact.)
The monthly Gourmet Body Treats Beauty Box is a newer offering that gives you a chance to affordably sample some of their great products. It’s just $19.99/month (shipped!) and includes 2-3 full size items, as well as a few samples. (Boxes are also available to Canada and internationally for an additional charge.)
Okay, let’s see what was in August’s box!
First look! The theme this month is “Healthy Summer Skin” and features products to help keep your skin looking fresh and clean.
Chamomile Cleansing Cream – This is a creamy cleanser that gently removes dirt, oil, makeup, and other icky residues from your skin. Natural extracts, including chamomile and lavender, help to keep the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. (Retail Price: $19)
Ginko Biloba Toner – Infused with steam-distilled Ginko Biloba, this spray-on toner is suitable for all skin types. Just mist it on your face after cleansing to reap its pore refining, complexion balancing benefits. I’ve never used (or heard of) a spray-on toner, so this is kinda neat. (Retail Price: $10 for this deluxe sample size)
Fortifying Lash & Brow Treatment – Who needs chemical growth treatments? (Especially near the eyes.) Chemicals, schmemicals! This all natural treatment promises “longer, thicker, stronger, and healthier” lashes in as little as 6 to 8 weeks. It uses plant-based proteins from quinoa & oats, as well as amino acids to encourage growth. (Retail Price: $22)
Organic Baby Wash – I’m always happy to try new natural baby washes for my girls. This can be used as both a shampoo and body wash for babies as well as us grownups. Its super gentle and tear free formula is made with moisturizing olive oil and soothing calendula extract. (Retail Price: $6 for this deluxe sample size)
Samples:
CoQ10 Moisturizing Cream – This moisturizer is fortified with CoQ10 and Vitamin A to help restore dull, tired, aging skin naturally. (Retail Price: $6 for this sample size)
Pineapple Refining Mask – I’ve made it a “thing” that whenever I take a bubble bath, I must use a face mask while I soak. (Probably because that’s the only time I remember to use one?) This deep cleansing mask features dead sea clay & pineapple extract and is safe for all skin types. (Retail Price: $5 for this sample size)
Another great box from Gourmet Body Treats! I love that I don’t have to worry about reading the ingredients because everything in the box will always be 100% vegan. Plus, the value is great. All totaled, the items in August’s box comes to $68! Crazy!

I would love to try to the face mask. I’ve never used one before because my skin is really sensitive, but you make taking a bath with one sound so relaxing and trust me, I need some relaxation lol. I also love the idea of the Dead Sea clay.

This is such a great idea still kind of a newbie vegan and still looking for some great natural organic products.

The brow treatment! Even though I took off all but the front stubs of my eyebrows as a rebellious 14 year old, I still pride in my drawn-on brows! They are my favorite part of my face, so anything I can do to UUUMPHF them up is an automatic winner in my book!
