Woohoo! My Citrus Lane box came earlier than usual this month! I love when that happens.
For those who still don’t know, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (cheaper with longer subs) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom.
This month’s box didn’t really have a theme for some reason. The info card just says that they’ve “chosen a little something for everyone this month”. Since the girls just turned 2, I wasn’t sure what age range our box would fall under, so for once I had no idea what would be inside.
So what was inside? Let’s check it out!
First look. The box was pretty heavy, so I really had no idea what was in there…
Melissa & Doug ABC 123 Blocks – Aha! These are what made the box so heavy. The girls have a gazillion toys, but they don’t have any wood blocks, so I was excited to see these. Plus, they’ve been all about the alphabet lately. Chloe knows about a third of the letters and she read them as I handed her each block. These are going to be great for helping them learn all 26. Plus, I love that it has a fabric pouch to keep all of the blocks together. LOVE this! (Amazon Price: $13.19)
Petit Collage Forest Friends Growth Chart – My husband and I were just talking about how we should get a growth chart for the girls… and BAM! — this appears in my Citrus Lane box. Yay! It comes with 20 cute leaf stickers to write the dates (and in my case names) on and can measure your kiddo up to 4 feet tall. It also folds down easily when the time comes to store it away. (Note: This is a Citrus Lane exclusive, but I did find a very similar one on Amazon, which is what I’m linking to.) (Amazon Price: $18.23)
Me4Kidz Cool It Buddy – This is a soft, reusable cold pack to help ease your little one’s bumps and bruises. It’s non-toxic, BPA free and stays soft & flexible even when frozen. The girls have been hurting themselves (and each other) quite a bit lately, so this is going in the freezer ASAP. (Amazon Price: $4.75)
Nurturme Happy Harvest Yum-a-Roo’s – I recently bought a bag of these from the “Try for $2” section on Abe’s Market and the girls loved them! They’re 100% dried fruit and veggies with nothing more added. I love that they’re organic and contain no salt or sugar. An easy, healthy toddler snack. (Amazon Price: roughly $2.54 for one pouch)
I LOVE this month’s Citrus Lane box! The blocks are perfect for helping the girls learn the rest of their letters (and numbers!), the growth chart is something we’ve been meaning to buy, the snack is already a favorite, and the cold pack is sure to come in handy. Oh, there was also a code to download a free Little Pim language video, but I honestly don’t see much value in it and didn’t bother to include it in the review. Just wanted to mention it though (no idea what the retail cost is). The total of all of my items (minus the video I just mentioned) comes to $38.71. Definitely more than the cost of the monthly box!
If you’d like to try Citrus Lane for yourself, you can get your first box for just $9 by clicking here and using the promo code “TAKE20OFF“. I’m not sure when that code expires, but if it doesn’t work, you can still get 50% off your first box by clicking here.

My daughter is 18 months and I got the exact same box- however my ice pack was a single use- it would have been nice to get the reusable one! But I also thought this seemed like an older kids box.
