A peek inside!
A welcome note explained more about the subscription and how to get the most out of your tea tasting experience.
An info card listed all of the teas included in August’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
Blueberry Black Tea by Naked Teas – Each resealable tea packet featured steeping instructions printed right on its label. This blueberry black tea consists of a blend of organic ceylon black tea, blueberries, blue cornflowers, and natural flavoring. It’s high in caffeine and has a smooth, tangy taste.
Northern Twilight by Winterwoods Tea Company – Another black variety, this one features premium Assam black tea sprinkled with golden calendula flowers. The info card suggests drinking a cup of this tea, followed by the blueberry black to note the similarities between the two.
High Desert Sunrise by Winterwoods Tea Company – A caffeine-free herbal tea made with organic red rooibos, honeybush, orange peel, lemongrass, hibiscus, calendula, and rosehips. I love herbal teas and this sounds like quite the interesting blend!
Climber’s High by Banff Tea Co. – A high-caffeine mate & green tea consisting of green tea (obviously), yerba mate, peppermint, dried goji berries, flower petals, and natural flavor. The info card describes this as “minty fresh with an earthy & roasted base”.
Biodegradable Tea Filters – A roll of disposable/biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box…
…as well as a pretty tea-related postcard. 🙂
As the cooler weather approaches, I always make sure I’m stocked with some tasty teas. August’s Amoda Tea box is the perfect sampler to get me started. I like that they included an even mix of both black and herbal blends. The inclusion of disposable tea filters was a nice addition too. 🙂
