From Aunt Flo is a new subscription box that sends you a monthly Pamper Pack to help you through your “time of the month”.
Each box will include the necessities — tampons and pantiliners — as well as pampering items like bath salts, scented candles, heating pads, soothing teas, Midol, chocolate, and more. Every month will feature a new selection of items. All you have to do is tell them when you need your box and you’re good to go.
Subscriptions are $19.99/month, or less with longer multi-month commitments. — For a limited time, you can save 15% on your first month with coupon code “FROMAUNTFLO“.
Let’s see what’s in my March 2016 From Aunt Flo box!
The box!
A peek inside.
While there wasn’t an info card provided, they did include a little welcome note.
Tampons – I didn’t see an option for pads on their site, so I’m assuming they only offer tampons currently. As someone who doesn’t use tampons, this was kind of a bummer. Also, there were only 4 of them included (2 super and 2 regular). Since I’m not a tampon user, I’m not sure if this is enough for a full cycle but I’m guessing it’s not?
Pantiliners – Four brightly-packaged pantiliners were included. I do use these, but typically between periods.
Rice Heating Pad – I took a photo of this heating pad in my hand in order to better show its size. It’s folded in half, so it’s actually twice the size of what you see in the photo. The pad is filled with rice and infused with lavender essential oil to ease your cramps and your mood.
Tea – Two single-serve tea packets were included which “support a calm cycle”. They’re caffeine free and made with organic herbs including uplifting lemon balm.
Chocolate! – A cute little drawstring bag contained an assortment of chocolates. It included 4 pieces of Dove dark chocolates and 3 different flavored Ghirardelli Squares.
After reviewing quite a few different “time of the month” boxes, I’ve learned that these types of subscriptions are definitely more about pampering/convenience as opposed to overall value. It’s clearly the case with From Aunt Flo as well. However, while I thought the pampering items were nice choices, I do wish they would have included additional tampons and liners. Unless you have a really light period, I just don’t think 4 tampons and 4 liners is enough. (Tampon users: Am I wrong on this??)
Remember, if you’d like to check them out you can save 15% on your first month with coupon code “FROMAUNTFLO“!

Yep your right, that amount isn’t enough. Although I use both this still wouldn’t be enough. But it’s about the pampering part?? Maybe enough to get you to the store to buy more??

Thanks for confirming! Yeah, it’s more about pampering but it would still make sense to include enough supplies for a full cycle… I mean, it IS a “period box”. 😉
