Let’s see what’s in the May 2022 Babacorn-Bricks box!
The box was shipped all the way from the UK in a light blue polymailer decorated with fun stickers.
The actual box featured a colorful star/bricks design with a Babacorn-Bricks logo in the center.
A peek inside!
May’s theme was “Mystery Blue”!
Minifigure Surprise Bags
All of the minifigures (with the exception of one, shown later) were wrapped in tissue paper and tucked into their own little surprise bags. I absolutely love how much care they put into these little bags with the addition of stickers, gems, and other fun touches.
I didn’t photograph every packet before opening, but above is an example of how cute they are.
Surprise Bag #1:
The first bag contained a cute little rat figure, tiny carton of milk, blue gem pieces, a heart sticker, and a custom piece of white chocolate printed with the Babacorn Bricks logo. 😀
Surprise Bag #2:
In the second bag we found the pieces for a policeman minifigure, a blue gem, a Babacorn-Bricks sticker, and a blue accessory that remains a mystery to me. 😉
Surprise Bag #3:
The third bag included a female minifigure, a blue cup accessory, a ninja themed sticker, and another one of those blue “mystery” accessories.
Surprise Bag #4:
I think the fourth bag was my favorite of the bunch because it included a minifigure of “Itchy” — one half of the “Itchy and Scratchy” duo from the Simpsons. He came with his own crystal sword(?), blue gem piece, and sparkly heart sticker.
Surprise Bag #5:
The final bag included a ninja-like minifigure, a blue brick piece, blue crystal, Babacorn Bricks sticker, light saber(?), and cool mustache accessory. The policeman seemed more fitting for a mustache, so I took the liberty of adorning him with it. 😉
The photo above shows everything (minus the stickers & candy) that was included in the surprise bags.
LEGO Creator Racecar
I was afraid my daughters would be bummed to receive a racecar as their specially chosen item, but they didn’t seem to mind. The kit came with 63 pieces and I was impressed at how quickly they assembled it on their own!
Vroom!
LEGO Ninjago “Jay”
Apparently there are a ton of different versions of “Jay” and I’m not entirely sure which one this is since the package was tossed after the figure was built. Whoops! Regardless, my kiddos also assembled this guy with no issues and didn’t mind that he wasn’t very “girly”.
He’s a happy little dude!
Accessories Pack
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure exactly how these accessories relate to one another (or even the “blue” theme), but here they are. 😉 Included were a few sheets of shimmery star stickers, a flat blue brick, two curved gray pieces, four “eyes”, a piece of double-sided tape, and a blue postcard.
Blue Storage Box
The final item in May’s shipment was a cute — and functional — LEGO themed storage box. It consisted of a clear plastic box with a dark blue brick-shaped lid.
Here’s a look at the box with some accessories stored inside. Very cool! 🙂
It’s been quite a while since I reviewed Babacorn-Bricks, so it was fun to receive May’s “Mystery Blue” themed box. Once again I was incredibly impressed by the care and attention to detail that they put into their subscription. From the meticulously wrapped minifigures, to the extra gems/stickers, to the theme itself — it’s clear that a lot of care (and love!) went into putting it all together. My girls were excited to add all of the figures, kits, and accessories to their ever-growing LEGO collection! 😀
