As a vegan momma, I always try to use all natural, vegan-friendly products for my girls — especially when it comes to bath time. (Cos who wants to bathe in chemicals? Ew.)
Babo Botanicals offer a wide range of bath products for babies and kids of all ages (adults too!). All of their formulas are made with natural, plant-based ingredients. You won’t find any synthetic ingredients, artificial colors/fragrances, sulfates, parabens, or icky chemicals in any of their products. I was recently sent a few of their Berry Primrose products to try out with the girls. How did we like them? Read on!
Smoothing Shampoo & Wash with Softening Berry Primrose – The berry primrose line is designed to help fight unruly hair. It prevents static, softens curls, and eliminates knots. My girls have very thin, yet tangly/static-y/curly locks, so this is the perfect product for them. It also smells a-maaazing! It didn’t lather like traditional shampoo, since it’s made with natural ingredients. However, a little went a long way. This bottle will definitely last a while, which is always a good thing.

Smoothing Conditioner with Berry & Evening Primrose Oil – Like the shampoo/body wash, this conditioner helps to tame the tangles. It contains both evening primrose and babassu oils that help to moisturize and soften the hair.
Smoothing Detangling Spray with Berry & Evening Primrose Oil – This is an alcohol-free leave-in detangling spray for wet or dry hair. It helps to remove knots and calm fly-aways. We used this after the girl’s bath and definitely saw a difference. Their hair was a lot more manageable, had less static, and smelled delicious! 😉

Babo Botanicals also sent the girls two of their adorable stuffed bunnies. I tried to get a few shots of them being cute with them, but… It didn’t quite happen. They were more interested in watching Trotro and looking like bored teenagers who were annoyed with mom’s photo taking. (It’s too soon for that girls! TOO. SOON.)

I would like to win because I’m always on the lookout for new natural baby products to try. It’s always a plus when they’re also cruelty-free.
All 4 of my girls have serious skin sensitivities. I can’t even use the average sunscreens on them. I’m currently using oatmeal, coconut oil & lavender essential olis mixed with filtered water to bathe them. We have hard water where we live which I feel also contributes to their skin rashes. I’d love to try a product that has all natural ingredients! Not that I don’t enjoy concocting solutions on my own, a break would be nice. Thanks for the chance!
