Let’s see what’s in the April 2019 Bath Blessing Box!
Everything was shipped in a white & blue bubble-covered box with the Bath Blessing Box logo in the center.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items in April’s box, along with photos and brief descriptions for each one. There was even a “monthly recipe” that utilized some of the items inside.
A separate card provided a list of things to do for yourself and others throughout the month. (Note: It also included bible verses. — Not to worry If that’s not your thing, as I didn’t notice any other references to religion anywhere else in box. Well, except the whole Bath Blessing Box thing. Just thought I’d put that out there. 😉 )
Bath Blessing Ylang Apricot Orange Luxury Soap
If you’re a regular reader here, you know how much I love a good natural bar soap! This sweet, citrus-scented bar is made with a blend of plant-based oils (organic palm, sunflower, coconut, and olive) and features crushed apricot seed for gentle exfoliation. It’s scented with pure essential oils of both ylang ylang & orange and is 100% vegan.
Yippee & Co. Silky Springtime Bath Bomb
Who doesn’t love a nice bath bomb? This one from Yippee & Co. contains a Spring-inspired blend of essential oils, kaolin clay, almond oil, rose petals, and other natural ingredients. My 6-year-olds are all about bath bombs these days, but luckily for me they don’t like the ones with “floating pieces” in them. — So this one’s all mine! 😉
Earthly Elixirs Grapefruit Ginger Cream Body Wash
Welp, I think I’ve found my new favorite scent! — Sweet, citrusy grapefruit paired with spicy ginger. Mmmm! I don’t normally use body wash (all about the bar soap!), but I think I’m going to make an exception for this one. Not only does it smell amazing, but it’s also made with 100% vegan ingredients and is scented with pure essential oils. Love that it comes in a glass bottle too!
St. Joe Soaps & Essentials Silent Night Epsom Salt Cake
I’ve never heard of an epsom salt cake, so I was quite intrigued when I saw this in the box. — From what I gather, it’s basically a salt bath in bar/cake form. You simply drop it in the tub and relax while the soothing salts help to relieve any sore muscles or body aches you may have. The scent is supposed to be reminiscent of “the air after a thunderstorm thick with ozone and crushed apple blossoms, wet roses and bruised flowers”.
Moni’s Natural Skin Care Nourishing Body Oil
This handcrafted body oil contains a plant-based blend of jasmine, tea tree, pomegranate seed, argan, and grape seed oils. Suitable for all skin types, it gently nourishes, tightens, tones, and firms skin while also providing vitamins and minerals for a healthy complexion.
Natural Desires Soap Company Jasmine Crush Bath Truffle
Unlike a bath bomb, this bath truffle requires you to crumble it under running bath water to unleash its magic. Once in the water, the pieces will transform into creamy bubbles that will nourish your skin with shea & cocoa butter and the scent of intoxicating jasmine.
Bath Blessing Salt Satchel
This little satchel of bath salts can be placed in the tub to steep like a tea bag, sprinkled directly into your bath water, or tied to your faucet during a shower (allowing the steam to interact with it). The satchel contains a fragrant blend of sea salt, Pink Himalayan Salt, essential oils, and dried flowers.
Natural Desires Soap Company Shower Steamer Set
While I do love bath bombs, I take a LOT more showers than baths, so I was happy to see this 4-piece set of shower steamers. To use, simply place one of the steamers on the floor of your shower and enjoy the aromatherapy experience as it fizzes & dissolves into the steam. The set includes 4 different scents — peppermint, orange, lavender, and lemongrass.
If you enjoy a nice bath and prefer not to soak in products with questionable ingredients (ew!), then Bath Blessing Box is the subscription for you! I was very impressed with the variety of items included in April’s box. — Handcrafted bar soap, body oil, bath bombs, an epsom salt “cake”, body wash, shower steamers, and more! Plenty of options for endless pampering. 🙂 — Remember, For a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “MOMSDAY“!
