Let’s see what’s inside the August 2015 Bath Time Box!
Everything was shipped in a medium-sized white box via priority mail.
A peek inside!
August’s box was all about saying goodbye to summer and featured a selection of summer-inspired products. The info card included descriptions and prices for each item in the box.
Ice Cream Bombs ($13.50) – How flippin’ cute are these bath bombs?! Love ’em! They’re made with colloidal oats, natural oils, and other natural ingredients. They feature the scents of vanilla, cotton candy, raspberry, and pina colada. I cannot WAIT until it’s the weather’s cool enough to try these out.
Twilight Bar Cold Process Soap ($7.50) – This pretty bar soap was designed to resemble the evening sky. It’s made with natural oils including olive, coconut, palm, & almond, as well as mango butter for super soft skin. I didn’t think to snap a photo of it, but the top edge of the bar is sprinkled with iridescent glitter!
Cooling Bath Soak ($8.50) – Since the weather around here has been in the mid-80’s & disgustingly humid, this cooling bath sounds like a good plan. It features lavender and aloe for a soothing & refreshing soak.
Sore Soak Foaming Salts ($9.50) – These foaming bath salts have a nice, cool scent — almost minty. They feature a blend of epsom salts, sea salts, and essential oils designed to bring relief to stiff & sore muscles.
Fruit Salad Solid Scrubs ($7.50) – The info sheet says that these are made with a goat’s milk soap base, but I don’t see that listed on the package. Weird. Anyway, these are solid sea salt & sugar scrubs scented with green apple, grape, and strawberry fragrance oils.
August’s Bath Time Box totally makes me wish this hot weather would hurry up and go away so I can start taking some dang baths already! The products all smell absolutely amazing and I’m dying to use those ice cream bath bombs. While some of the values listed seem a little high to me, I’d still say it’s a nice selection of products for $29 shipped (especially since the box is based in Canada!). Bottom line: Awesome box of bath-time goodies. — If you like to bathe, subscribe ASAP! 🙂
