BE KIND. by ellen is a purpose-driven seasonal subscription box founded and curated by Ellen Degeneres.
Each box will include a collection of products (chosen by Ellen!) that are cruelty free, sustainably sourced, and ethically made. These “products with a purpose” come from brands who do good and give back to their community, so you can feel good about supporting them. Past items have included books, apparel, teas, skin care products, jewelry, snacks, eco-friendly cleaning products, home decor, socks, coffee, lip balms, and more.

Boxes are only available during the season in which they are released, so there will be a limited number of boxes available each quarter. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Subscriptions are $54.99/quarter, or less with annual plans. Shipping is free. — For a limited time you can save 15% on the Spring 2023 box! — Just use coupon code “FRIEND15” at checkout!
Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2023 BE KIND. by ellen box!
Everything was shipped in a pretty box featuring a pretty floral/garden-inspired design. — Definitely one of the most beautifully illustrated boxes I’ve gotten in a while. 🙂
A peek inside!
A full-color magazine provided details on all of the items included in this quarter’s box, as well as additional offers from Ellen’s online shop.
My Little Belleville Lavender Gardening Gloves ($28 value)
I could definitely use a new pair of gardening gloves, so I was very happy to see these included in Spring’s box. The sprigs(?) of lavender that extend over each finger are not only pretty, but also ensure that my husband won’t ever try to steal borrow these when he misplaces his own. 😉 The comfy gloves are made of 70% cotton & 30% polyester and are one size fits most. They’re also machine washable. Yay!
American Meadows Meadowscaping Seed Starter Kit ($14.75 value)
This meadowscaping starter kit consists of 5 wildflower seed packets and a guide to help get you planting. The single species seeds include Purple Coneflower, Zinnia, and Autumn Beauty Sunflowers, plus two exclusive mixes — Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Wildflowers. I’ve been wanting to start a little container garden in the yard and these are just what I need to get started. 🙂
Ellen’s “You Dig It” Garden Trowel ($35 value)
I may not know too much about gardening, but I do know that the value listed for this trowel is a wee bit inflated. C’mon Ellen… $35?! Okay, with that out of the way I’m happy to add an extra little trowel to our slowly growing yard tool collection. It’s not the fanciest and the wood is a bit rough in spots, but it’s just fine for the minimal amount of actual “work” I do in the garden. 😉
Beekeeper’s Naturals Superfood Honey ($16.99 value) + Wooden Honey Dipper ($6.95 value)
Beekeeper’s Naturals Superfood Honey is infused with propolis, royal jelly, and bee pollen to help improve energy levels, support your immune system, and enhance cognitive function. Enjoy a teaspoon drizzled into your tea, spread it on toast, use it in baked goods, or even alone as a nourishing pre-workout boost of energy. The product is certified paleo, gluten-free, soy-free, and has zero artificial colors, preservatives, fillers, alcohol, GMOs, or refined sugars.
A handy 4-inch wooden honey dipper was also provided for a mess-free dunk!
Diamond Art Club Custom “Be Kind” Diamond Painting Kit ($45 value)
Diamond Art Club is a woman-founded company that ethically sources their artwork from a variety of artists around the world and takes care to properly license every design. The kit above features an exclusive “Be Kind” design and comes with everything needed to complete it. The completed (full coverage) artwork will measure 5 inches by 5 inches and consist of 2,025 tiny “diamonds”! My kids both worked on a much smaller scale diamond art project and it takes a long time. That said, I’ll be gifting this to someone who has that much spare time (and patience) to dedicate to it. 😉
Guru Nanda Concentrated Mouth Wash ($15.99 value)
This small 2-ounce bottle of super concentrated mouthwash is the equivalent of 10 regular-sized bottles of traditional mouthwash (or 300 “swishes”)! The dentist-recommended formula is made with pure essential oils like clove oil to support healthy gums, cardamom and fennel oil to provide a natural refreshing feeling, and peppermint for minty fresh breath. To use, simply add 4-6 drops to the included dosage cup, add water, then gently swish for approximately 1 minute.
Style Edit Root Touch-Up Powder in Dark Brown ($35.99 value)
Style Edit’s Root Touch-up powder is an ultra-light binding powder that instantly conceals unwanted grays or root re-growth with just one swipe. The handy compact packaging includes a built-in mirror and hidden sponge applicator for easy application at home or on the go. The powder is rain, sweat, and wind resistant, but easily washes out with your next shampoo. “Dark Brown” matches cool dark brown, dark brown and warm dark brown hair shades, and is good for all hair types and textures.
Bob’s Red Mill “Bob’s Bar” in Peanut Butter Chocolate & Oats ($6 value)
These chewy snack bars from Bob’s Red Mill feature a tasty blend of peanuts, whole grain oats, organic chocolate chips, organic honey, cocoa, and other natural ingredients. They’re certified gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO verified. Each bar has 5 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, and just 8 grams of fat.
The Spring 2023 BE KIND. by ellen box was my favorite curation of theirs to date! It included a fun assortment of useful products from socially conscious brands. My personal favorites were the My Little Belleville Gardening Gloves, American Meadows Seed Starter Kit, “You Dig It” Trowel, Guru Nanda Mouthwash, and Bob’s Red Mill Oat Bars. The total retail value of everything in the Spring 2023 BE KIND. by ellen box was over $204! 😀 — Remember, you can save 15% on the Spring 2023 box! — Just use coupon code “FRIEND15” at checkout!
