Beauteque Monthly BB Bag is a subscription box that sends you a selection of Korean beauty products every month.
Each box will contain at least 6 products as well as a free makeup bag. Items can include cosmetics, masks, cleansers, lotions, beauty tools, and more. While most products will come from Korea and Taiwan, you may also receive items from other Asian countries as well.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $24/month, or less with multi-month commitments.
Let’s see what’s in the September 2016 Beauteque Monthly BB Bag!
Everything was shipped in a plain brown box via Priority Mail.
September’s theme was “K-Beauty Must-Haves” and an info card listed all of the items inside, along with photos, descriptions, and retail values for each one.
Makeup Bag – The makeup bag for September had a blue and white sort of zebra stripe design with a textured look & feel. The inside was fully lined to prevent any spills from leaking through to the outside.
Esfolio Black Caviar Eye Patch ($28) – This container contains 60 hydrogel eye patches that promise to deliver moisture and elasticity for radiant, shiny, and healthy skin. They’re infused with fresh caviar extract and pearl extract which is said to nourish, brighten, and tighten the sensitive skin around your eyes.
Secret Key Lemon D-TOC Peeling Gel ($15) – When applied to freshly cleansed skin, this peeling gel gently unclogs pores and removes dead skin cells. The formula includes botanical ingredients including lemon extract, aloe vera, hollyhock, and papaya. Just massage in for 1-2 minutes and then rinse to reveal a smoother complexion.
Yadah Auto Lip Crayon in “Dazzling Red” ($6.99) – This is one seriously bold lip color! It features a long-lasting matte finish in a convenient retractable tube. The moisturizing formula includes macadamia seed and avocado oils and it’s 100% paraben free.
Annie’s Way Jelly Masks ($8) – Subscribers all received two masks, but there were 7 different variations sent out. I received Honey Deep Moisturizing, which uses honey to soothe and moisturize dry, flaky skin. To use, just apply a generous amount of the jelly to your face and allow to dry for 15-30 minutes. Then using your fingers or a spatula tool, simply scrape off the product and rinse the remaining residue with lukewarm water.
Dual-Ended Eye Brush ($5) – A handy tool to have in your makeup arsenal, this brush features a tapered full-coverage shadow brush on one side, and a smudge brush on the other.
Deoproce Power Curling Mascara ($8.99) – This curling mascara includes a half-moon shaped wand (which I forgot to photograph!) that makes it easier to reach small, hard to get to lashes. It promises to enhance your natural lashes without flaking or clumping.
I’m not personally into K-Beauty, but if I were I’d probably be thrilled with this Beauteque Monthly BB Bag. It had a nice assortment of both skincare & makeup products and I liked how the info card included instructions on how to use each item. The total retail value of September’s box (using values listed on the card) was $72! Not bad! 🙂
