March 2017 Beauty Box 5 unboxing time!
If you’re not aware, Beauty Box 5 is an affordable subscription box that delivers 5 deluxe samples and full-sized products right to your door every month. Each box will consist of a mix of both full and deluxe sample sized products — five in all. Items can include makeup, beauty accessories, hair, skincare, fragrance, body, nail products, and more. Featured brands will range from luxury, to drugstore, niche, eco-conscious, and even vegan-friendly. The total retail value will always be higher than the cost of the box.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $12/month, or less with multi-month commitments. Shipping to US is free (Canada, add $3). — For a limited time, new subscribers will get a FREE Elizabeth Mott Eyeliner in Glitterati in their first box with a purchase of a subscription! No coupon code needed.
Let’s see what’s in the March 2017 Beauty Box 5 box!
As always, everything was shipped in a small box with the Beauty Box 5 logo on the side.
A peek inside!
March’s theme was “Lash Bash” and the info card listed all of the items in the box, as well as photos, descriptions, and retail prices for each one.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Cosmetic Glitter in Spectra ($15)
This glitter was one of the spoiler items for March. Subscribers could have received one of two shades — Copper or Spectra (shown above). You can apply this to your skin, eyelids, hair, lips, or even bubble bath for a touch of sparkle.
Sweep “The Elisa Lash” Lashes ($15)
A package containing 5 sets of false lashes that are synthetic and 100% cruelty free. I’ve never attempted to wear false lashes myself, but I’m sure they’re fun to play around with. I can’t stand having anything near my eyeballs (I can’t even do eyedrops), so I don’t think I’ll be giving them a try anytime soon. 😉
Sweep Lash Helper ($9.99)
To go along with the lashes, a handy “lash helper” tool was also included to make it even easier to apply them. Simply pick up the lashes with the end of the tool, tilt your chin up for a better view, and apply.
Prestige Cosmetics True Metals Eyeshadow ($9.75)
This bold shadow — in “Gilded” — creates a foiled look with a metallic finish and highly pigmented hue. It can be applied wet or dry to intensify the color and effect of the shadow. Subscribers received one of various different shades.
Manna Kadar Lash Extending Primer (~$10)
Prevent mascara from flaking with a coat of this lash extending primer. The creamy formula acts as a clear base coat that naturally lengthens and bulks up your lashes before mascara application.
An impressive 4 out of 5 products in March’s Beauty Box 5 were FULL SIZE! You don’t see that too often in beauty boxes in the $10/month price range. Plus, the total retail value of everything was nearly $60! Not too shabby. 😀 — Remember, for a limited time new subscribers will get a FREE Elizabeth Mott Eyeliner in Glitterati in their first box with a purchase of a subscription! No coupon code needed.
