Beauty Joy is a brand new makeup & beauty subscription box that sends you a nice selection of cosmetics, skin products, and jewelry at an affordable price.
Each Beauty Joy box will include one full sized cosmetics item, one hand curated jewelry item, and 2-3 deluxe samples. Boxes are just $15 a month (US shipping included) and subscriptions are available worldwide.
November’s box was their very first, so I was excited to see what was inside!

The box itself was shipped inside of a larger box to keep it in tact.
For a new box, it had a great first look. I love the simple, professional packaging. The box itself was pretty sturdy and will definitely be repurposed.
Seriously… Just look at how pretty this box is! I almost didn’t wanna open it. Almost.
The info card was simple and to the point. (Notice the product values… Not too shabby for a $15 box.)
Korres Volcanic Mineral Mascara ($16.99 Amazon, $20 Retail) – This volumizing mascara is formulated with real volcanic minerals that help to increase lash volume by up to 600 percent. It’s smudge-free, long-lasting and contains no sulfates, petrochemicals, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances. Nice! This product alone is worth more than the cost of the entire box.
Handmade Bangle Bracelet with Silver European Beads ($15) – I’m not sure if they make these in-house or not, but it definitely feels like a sturdy, high quality bracelet. The beads are really pretty and I love the pink color variations. Sadly, my wrists are just too teeny for bracelets like these, so I’ll be passing it along to someone whose wrists actually grew with them into adulthood. 😉
Avene Eau Thermale Cleansing Cream ($2.00) – A cleansing cream specially designed for acne-prone skin that deep cleans without totally drying it out. It’s soap-free and made with French thermal water to hydrate & sooth the skin.
Essie Sleek Stick Nail Appliques ($9.99 Amazon, $10.25 Retail) – Again, sorry for the crummy lighting in these photos. Yikes. Anywhooo… This is a set of long lasting nail appliques that features a black (dark grey?) color with a shimmery clear stone design. The set includes 18 stickers, 1 cuticle stick, 1 file & buffer, and instructions.
Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast Lip Balm ($1.50) – I have a TON of lip balm, thanks to subscription boxes. I really wish I went through them faster so I could try them as soon as I get ’em. One lip balm can seriously last me months. Is that weird?
Wow! So much stuff! Needless to say, I’m super impressed with the debut Beauty Joy box. The total value of all the items (using retail and Amazon prices) comes to about $45. Crazy good value for a $15 box!
