Berry Cart is a free app (for both iPhone and Android devices — download here) that gives you cash back on healthy grocery purchases… just buy a qualifying product shown in the app, submit a photo of your receipt, and receive cash back within 24 hours. I’ve had the Berry Cart app on my phone for a while now, so of course I was excited to hear that they started offering a subscription box comprised of the same great brands that they feature on the app.
Every item in your Berry Cart box will have a cash back offer available on the app. So if you try something you love, you’ll be able to save money when you decide to purchase it on your own. Boxes will contain at least 4 full-sized products, as well as samples for a total of 8-10 items. There will also be a bonus rebate for frequently bought items such as apples, grapes, etc. All items will be free of artificial flavors, sweeteners, preservatives, and high-fructose corn syrup.
Berry Cart subscriptions are $29/month (includes shipping), or less with multi-month plans.
Let’s see what’s in April’s Berry Cart box!
Everything was shipped in a plain Priority Mail box, which they say is to “pack more full-sized products and value inside the box than outside“. They also note that the pretty wrapping can be reused for another gift. It is super cute cellophane, so I may just do that.
The 2-sided, full color info card listed all of the products included along with the rebate amount available on the app. The bonus offer was $0.30 back on bananas, which we buy every week so that’ll definitely get used.
Beanfields Bean & Rice Chips (FULL SIZE) – I absolutely LOVE all of Beanfields chips and Nacho is my #1 favorite so I was crazy happy to see this big bag in the box. As their name suggests, these chips are made of rice & beans, but you’d seriously never know. (They are so, SO good!) They’re also vegan, gluten-free, corn-free, and really addictive.
Kutoa Chocolate Banana Snack Bar (FULL SIZE) – “Kutoa” is Swahili for “to give”. For each one of these bars purchased, the company gives a meal to a child in need. Nice! This bar includes chia, flax, whole fruits, and chocolate. It’s vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO.
Ips Egg White Chips in White Cheddar – These chips have as much protein as an egg, with half the fat and less carbs than regular potato chips. They’re gluten-free and contain no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. I think it’s obvious that these aren’t exactly vegan-friendly, but I’m sure my kiddos will enjoy ’em.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts – I think these have been in just about every subscription snack box out there. It’s cool though, cos I actually like ’em. They’re a great source of plant-based omegas and can be easily added to granola or a smoothie for a nice nutritional boost.
I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Clusters in Peanut Butter Cacao (FULL SIZE) – I’m not really a fan of quinoa on its own, but combined with peanut butter & chocolate? I just might have a change of heart.
Simple Squares Organic Snack Bar in Coconut (FULL SIZE) – A healthy snack bar made with plant-based, organic ingredients. Certified gluten-free and sweetened with honey, this bar contains no refined sugar, dairy, or soy.
Laughing Giraffe Organics Vanilla Snakaroons – Ooh! Macaroons! I would have loved if this was full-sized. These “yummy mounds of coconut goodness” are vegan, gluten-free, and made with raw, non-GMO ingredients. Mmmm!
Pyure Organic Stevia Sweetener – I’m usually not a fan of sugar alternatives, but I’ll give this a try. It’s an all natural sweetener made from stevia leaves. It’s also calorie-free and contains no artificial additives.
World Peas Ranch Flavored Green Pea Snack – For some reason I thought these were chickpeas at first, but they’re actually green peas. I also assumed they weren’t vegan, due to the ranch flavor… Wrong again. Way to make me look dumb, pea snack.
Overall, I was really happy with the selection of items included in my Berry Cart box. I like that they send at least 4 full sized items and include rebates for all of the products in the Berry Cart app. I also like that many of the products happened to be vegan. 😉
If you’d like to sign up for the Berry Cart box, you can save $5 on your first one when you use coupon code “GET5OFF” at checkout! — Don’t forget to download the app too!

I love your snack review…there are a few goodies that I would love to eat!! And so would my son, too! (For a kid that is living with Autism…he loves to eat and cook a variety of foods as long as it isn’t cashew or pistachios, which he is allergic to both)
