Best Club Period Box Review & Giveaway

Best Club Period is a new “time of the month” subscription box. For $15/month (plus shipping), you’ll get a box containing 15 tampons, 5 pads, 5 liners, 2 razors, and 2 samples of organic tea. There’s also an option to just get 3 razors and 2 samples of tea for $6/mo. (plus shipping).

From what I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any choice in brands for the pads or tampons and you can’t choose one or the other (pads or tampons). Thankfully, I’m not too picky when it comes to feminine supplies, so I was fine with what was sent. Not everyone is as lax about it as I am though, so it’d be nice if they start to offer a few different brands in the future. We’ll see!

Okay, let’s check out what exactly was inside the box, shall we?

First look. Yep, it’s a period box alright. 😉

Tampons – 10 “regulars” and 5 “supers” were included. I have no idea what brand these are, but the site says that they have curved plastic applicators and are high absorbency.

Pads & Pantyliners – The box included 5 overnight pads and 5 pantyliners. Again, I don’t know what brand(s) they are, but I’m sure they’ll do the job. Being that I solely use pads, I do wish they had an option for a “pads only” box.

“Sexy Leg” Razors – The two razors featured 5 blades with lubrication strips. They refer to them as “Sexy Leg” razors, so I’m guessing they’re a generic brand. They do look just like the more expensive name brands ones though. Way better than the cheapo dollar store ones I tend to grab.

Traditional Medicinals Teas – I received two “women’s teas”: Organic PMS Tea and Healthy Cycle. The PMS one claims to “support a good mood during PMS”. If that’s true, I want a lifetime supply. Well, enough to last until menopause anyway. 😉

Best Club Period is a good box for college students or teens who’d rather not have to go out and buy their monthly supplies on their own. There were more than enough products to last through a typical period, though I do wish they had more customizable options.
