BooksTo.Me is a neat subscription service that sends you a printed photo book of your latest Instagram images on a monthly basis.
The process is super simple. — You just sign up for the service and a few days later, you’ll receive your first book using the photos you’ve posted over the past month. If there’s some images that you’d rather not include (food close-ups, regrams, regretful selfies), you can omit them from the book simply by tagging the photo “#noBTM”. Easy peasy!
As for the layout, that’s done for you as well! I actually really love the fact that I don’t have to worry about choosing which photos go where, what size to make them, etc… That’s the main reason why I always hesitate when it comes to getting photo books made. I’m super indecisive. I love that they omit this often time-consuming step.
I was recently given an opportunity to try out BooksTo.Me for myself and was really happy with what I received. Have a look!
The hardbound books are 8″ x 8″ and feature a paper jacket printed with your most liked images as well as the date range in which they were taken. Again, I’m glad that they make this decision for you because it would have taken me forever to figure out which photos to include on the cover.
The inside cover features the BooksTo.Me logo printed on the (removable) paper jacket. The date range is printed on the lower right corner of the first photo page.
Here’s a typical page spread. The photo quality may look different from one photo to the next, depending on which filters you used on Instagram. Remember, they’re pulling them directly from your account, so however they look on there is how they’ll appear in your book.
This photo has a more subtle filter and you can see how crisply it printed. They use “Neenah Classic Crest Smooth Digital 100# text paper that’s FSC, Carbon Neutral Plus, and Green-e certified”. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but it sounds pretty impressive. 😉
Here’s an example of the layout variations. Again, these are chosen for you and the amount of full page photos will depend on how many images you take during that given month. The less photos you have, the more full page photos you’ll see. You need at least 20 photos for a book, and can have up to 320. (If you upload more than 320 photos to Instagram in a month, you may have a problem… 😉 )
I absolutely LOVE how my book turned out! What I love even more was how easy it was to make. You just post your photos to Instagram as usual and BookTo.Me does the rest.
There are 2 different options to choose from: Monthly ($24) or Quarterly ($44). Shipping is included in both plans.

I would love to win to be able to give them to my children when they get older. You really never know what children can remember when they get older, so it would be awesome to just be able to show them like that!
