BRICKBOX is a subscription box that sends you a collection of brick/LEGO toys and accessories every month.
Each box will feature a different theme with an assortment of authentic brick sets, mini figures, accessories, and more. You can also receive t-shirts, gadgets, stickers, and various other bricks/LEGO-related items. Custom items may be included as well.
Subscriptions start at $13.99 for the “Loot” box (includes mini figure & accessories), $19.99 for the “Mini” box, and $29.99 for the “Classic” box.
Let’s see what’s in the BRICKBOX “S.W.A.T.” themed box!
The box!
A peek inside.
LEGO City Prison Island Starter Set ($7) – This 92-piece “Prison Island” starter set features a police buggy, crook’s watercraft with space for a mini figure, plus a small pier. It also comes with 4 mini figures — a policeman, policewoman, and 2 “crooks”. Accessories include a flashlight, walkie-talkie, backpack, ball and chain, 2 banknotes, megaphone, handcuffs, and a pickaxe.
LEGO Mixels Chilbo Building Kit ($9.85) – I received one of these kits in my last BRICKBOX review and I’m still not quite sure what the appeal is. Based on the fact that it sells for nearly ten dollars on Amazon and has all positive reviews, someone is clearly into these things. 😉 This particular “Chilbo” kit comes with 65 pieces and features big teeth, rotating eyebrows for different expressions, translucent frozen brain, claws for hands, and posable joints.
BRICKBOX S.W.A.T. Mini Figure & Accessories – This angry lookin’ S.W.A.T. dude comes with cool accessories including a printed base, tactical belt, vest, and more.
More Accessories – Two little black bags held even more accessories! The first one included a printed crate with removable lid, a backpack(?), and a teeny tiny gun. The second bag had a SWAT shield & holder(?), night vision goggles, and a SWAT helmet.
FaBiOX – This little plastic case is the perfect size to display your mini figures. They’re stackable too!
BRICKBOX is a fun subscription box for any LEGO/brick fan. It’s cool that they include both licensed LEGO products, as well as custom pieces. I would have liked to have seen one or two more items included, but otherwise it was a decent box.
