The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s the Purple Dot Project, an organization that raises awareness for domestic violence and empowers individuals affected by abuse using yoga.
SkinYoga Ayurvedic Coffee Body Scrub ($15) – I’ve actually received this product in another subscription box earlier this year and loved the cool packaging. So neat! SkinYoga was founded by a trio of sisters in India who strive to use all natural ingredients in each of their products. This coffee scrub helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite, inflammation, and stretch marks. It also moisturizes and nourishes the skin with its natural oils.
Wellness by Helen Ayurvedic Herbal Face Cleanser ($15) – This herbal cleansing powder has natural anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, detoxifying, clearing and rejuvenating properties to help your face feel radiant and fresh. Ingredients include manjistha, neem, orange peel, and besan which work to effectively remove dirt and toxins from the skin.
Neelu Kaur Ayuverdic Oil Blend ($30) – I recently received a sample size of this product in another box and am happy to see a full sized version here. Amrit “Nectar of the Divine” is a therapeutic quality Ayurvedic organic essential oil blend that promotes a “sense of connectedness” and features bergamot, natural vanilla, rosewood, patchouli, mandarin, amyris, rose, and jojoba oils. It smells incredible and I’m wearing it as I type. 🙂
Blend Bee Calm My Dosha Tea ($7) – An Ayurvedic loose leaf tea blend to help you release stress & unfray your nerves. Organic ingredients include marshmallow root, ginger, peppermint, licorice root, and fennel seed. The package comes with a muslin tea bag and makes up to 7 cups.
NamasBar in Almond Cacao ($4) – Yay, chocolate! This bar is made with vegan-friendly traditional Ayurvedic ingredients and organic super foods. It contains no added sugar, no GMOs and is gluten-free. For each bar sold, one meal is donated to a child in need!
April’s featured yoga pose was “Bakasana — Crow Pose”. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
BuddhiBox continues to impress! My favorite item this month is definitely the Amrit oil blend. I can’t get enough of the scent! So good. 🙂 The total value of all the items in the April box was just over $70! Another great month!
