UPDATE: They now also offer a lower price point BuddhiBox option in collaboration with Quinntessentials – BBEO. For $14.95/month (inclusive of shipping) you’ll receive one essential oil roll-on, a deluxe essential oil sample, a crystal, and a 15 minute meditation valued at $40+. Let’s see what’s in my August 2016 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s The One Love Movement, an organization who supports underprivileged youth.
Karma Mantra Amrita Lava Bracelet ($24) – Amrita (another word for Amrit) is known as the drink of the Devas that granted them immortality accordingly to the old scriptures. I’m not quite sure what that has to do with this bracelet, but that tidbit was included in its description on their website. 😉 What I do know is that this piece is made with real lava stones, which are known for their grounding emotional and spiritual qualities. It also features 3 natural howlite stones, as well as gold accent beads.
Orglamix Peach Sangria Lip Scrub ($15) – A sulfate/paraben/phthalate free lip scrub made with natural ingredients including organic cane sugar, brown sugar, and sweet almond oil. Subscribers could have received either pina colada or peach sangria (which smells incredible!).
Boyd’s Handmade Refreshing Facial Mist ($10) – A vegan-friendly, non-toxic facial mist designed to help cool you down and leave you refreshed & relaxed. It’s made with a blend of organic oils including jojoba, sweet almond, argon, and Vitamin E.
Auromere Himalayan Rose Ayurvedic Soap & samples ($8) – An authentic hand-crafted ayurvedic soap designed especially for dry & sensitive skin. It’s made with a fragrant blend of Indian and Damascus roses combined with 15 complementary ayurveda herbal extracts & oils selected for their gentle cleansing and conditioning effect. The bar is vegan, gluten-free, and 100% biodegradable. Also included were bonus samples of Auromere shampoo and pre-shampoo conditioner.
Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch ($2) – An easy to use herbal patch that’s designed to give you temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with arthritis, backaches, stiffness and muscle strains. Just apply the ventilated hydrogel patch to the part of your body that hurts and you’re good to go.
BONUS ITEM Soulful Essence Yoga Bliss ($23) – This was listed on the info card as a “Favorite Things Bonus” valued at $12, but it actually sells for $23 on the Soulful Essence site. Nice! It’s an affirmation roll-on consisting of a mix of both lemongrass and frankincense essential oils and is intended to inspire balance.
BONUS ITEM Zico Chocolate Flavored Coconut Water (~$1.50) – I didn’t see this mentioned on the info card at all, so I’m guessing it’s another bonus item. I don’t love coconut milk, but it’s good enough to toss into a smoothie. 🙂
Another nice assortment of yogi-centric items from BuddhiBox! The total value of all the items in August’s box was over $80. 🙂 Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
