February 2017 BuddhiBox unboxing time!
If you’re new here, BuddhiBox is a subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living. Each month you’ll receive 4-6 full sized products to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $30.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. They also offer a sample box for $11.95/month that includes 2-3 product samples and coupons. — New subscribers can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
Let’s see what’s in my February 2017 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s the Oceanside K-9 Association, whose K-9 teams are utilized in building and area searches, tracking, apprehension of dangerous suspects, perimeter/crowd control, officer protection and other situations in which the dogs’ special skills may be helpful.
ToeSox Casual Crew Socks ($18)
These fun polka dotted toe socks feature five-toe construction, a fitted heel, and an arch support band for ultimate comfort. They’re super soft and are made with a blend of polyester, cotton, and spandex. The crew length makes them perfect for wearing with sneakers, boots, and other comfy footwear (except sandals! 😉 ).
Raw Rose Quartz Crystal ($10)
Rose quartz is known as a “crystal of unconditional love”. It’s pale pink in color and carries a soft feminine energy of compassion, peace, tenderness, healing, nourishment, and comfort.
Gogh Jewelry Design Crystal Charm Bracelet ($30)
A dainty silver bracelet adorned with two charms — an “ohm” symbol and a pale blue crystal. I couldn’t find this exact piece listed on the Gogh Jewelry Design website, so I’m not sure what the crystal is made of… Whatever it is, I like it. 🙂
BlendBee Té Amoré Love & Light Potion ($10)
This handcrafted tea was created to inspire a “deep love within”. It contains a blend of lemongrass, ashwagandha root, coconut, carob bean, rose petals, oatstraw, and passionfruit herb. It’s caffeine free and made with mostly organic ingredients. A reusable muslin tea bag is also included.
Cozy Orange Twist Headband ($12)
I’m not totally sure how this “twist” headband is supposed to lay, so hopefully I positioned it right in the photos. 😉 It’s made with a blend of recycled plastic bottle fibers and designed to keep your hair in place while quickly wicking away sweat.
Co-Pūr Lip Balm ($4)
An all natural lip balm made with pure ingredients including organic shea butter & coconut oil, as well as cooling peppermint to sooth dry lips. (Note: This was labeled as vegan on the info card, but does contain beeswax.)
Jo-Sha Tangerine Wipe ($3)
Use this gentle cleansing wipe to clean & naturally disinfect hands, feet, fitness equipment, and more. It contains a blend of pure essential oils to create an “uplifting inner atmosphere of joy”.
Smudge Stick ($5)
I believe this was supposed to be included in January’s box, but since it was missing they sent it to subscribers this month. Smudge sticks are traditionally used to cleanse a sacred space by lighting the bundled herbs and letting the fragrant smoke fill the air.
I really enjoyed this month’s offering from BuddhiBox! My favorite items were the toe socks, charm bracelet, and herbal tea. The total value of all the items in February’s box was just over $90! 🙂 Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
