Let’s see what’s in my July 2018 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
BuddhiBox now sends their “boxes” in reusable canvas bags. Every bag features a new yogi-inspired phrase/mantra each month.
An info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
Ohm Shoppe Singing Bowl ($35 or on Amazon for $22)
I think this is one of the neatest things I’ve gotten in a BuddhiBox to date. — A hammered brass Tibetan singing bowl! The handcrafted piece comes complete with a wooden striker and a decorative pillow cushion for it to sit upon. Crafted in Nepal, these singing bowls are used worldwide for yoga, meditation and spiritual healing. Their high-frequency pitches are said to resonate with your chakra points, promoting relaxation and stress reduction. I tried to play it using the instructions provided, but I think I’ll need to check out a few YouTube videos to really get the positioning right. 🙂
Black Onyx Bracelet ($25)
A versatile bracelet that can be worn both casually or for a night out, this piece features black onyx beads paired with a gold gingko leaf charm in the center and a square BuddhiBox logo charm near the clasp. Gingko leaves promote healthy blood circulation, while onyx helps promote the development of physical & emotional strength and stamina.
Luna Wake Up! Energy Burst Aromatherapy Spray ($14)
This citrus & eucalyptus aromatherapy spray is designed to “get your blood flowing and your brain working” with the help of its natural essential oils. I gave it a spritz and while I enjoyed the scent, I was a little surprised to see that the liquid was bright pink. The bottle states that you can mist it into the air, on any water safe surface, or on your body. I only sprayed it on my wrist, but now I’m curious if the pink would stain my clothing or linens… So odd.
White Selenite Massage Wand ($15)
Crafted from white selenite (a powerful physical, mental, and spiritual healer), this wand can be used for both massage and acupressure. Its pointed end directs and focuses energies, while the rounded end is used to spread those energies. Also included were two helpful (and pretty!) illustration cards that indicate specific reflex points on your hands and feet.
Spirit Reiki Candle ($6)
This Reiki-charged votive candle features an herbal blend of lemon, sage, and clove. It’s designed to help you focus on the spiritual side of life and allows you to move beyond the physical into the light filled with hope, love and joy.
Roots of Wisdom Be Vanilla Protein Energy Meal ($6)
A 100% plant-based protein powder that contains 8 Ayurvedic Pranic herbs that help to increase life force energy. Each serving provides 20 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, and just 1 gram of sugar.
Such a great collection of neat products in July’s BuddhiBox! My favorite items were the Tibetan singing bowl, Luna aromatherapy spray (minus the pink-ness), selenite wand, and votive candle. The total retail value of everything in July’s box was just over $100! — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
