Let’s see what’s in my June 2017 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
Gaiam Restore Ultimate Foot Massager ($8)
I’m actually using this mini foot massager as I type and I’m already a fan. You simply roll it under your foot to quickly and easily relieve tension & tightness. It’s great for plantar fasciitis and can also be used on your hands, arms, and legs.
Bear’s Beauty Sun Hat Mineral SPF Powder ($16)
I’ve never seen a product like this before and it’s pretty neat. — It’s a mineral-based SPF powder that you can mix with your favorite lotion, cream, serum, butter, or balm to create your own custom sunscreen. It’s all natural, won’t clog pores, and can be used on your entire body.
Pink Lotus Health & Fitness Yoga Mat Spray ($15)
I wasn’t able to find this online, so I’m just going to rely on the info card’s description… This all natural yoga mat spray is made with a blend of essential oils which have both antibacterial and antiviral properties. It can be used to clean your yoga mat, as well as freshen up surfaces around your home. It’s even safe enough to use as a face & body mist.
Syd the Suburban Monk ($20)
This jovial little dude is Syd the Suburban Monk — a “Buddha-like statue” designed to uplift and rejuvenate your spirit. He comes in a variety of colors, all of which have their own meaning. Orange is optimistic, encouraging spontaneity and a positive outlook. It (he) helps to keep you motivated and looking at the brighter side of life. 🙂
Gypsy Soul Organics Son Rain Aromatherapy Spray ($20)
This mystical, meditative aromatherapy spray is designed to bring about the peaceful, calming effect of a good rain. It features cedar leaf & violet, blended with deep notes of patchouli, eucalyptus, citronella, lemon & galbanum essential oils.
Purely Inspired French Vanilla Organic Protein & Recipe Book ($6)
I’m always happy to see these vegan-friendly protein powder packets. I drink smoothies everyday and these make a great addition. They’re gluten-free, non-GMO, and have an impressive 20 grams of plant-based protein per serving. Also included was a recipe book filled with 12 great smoothie recipes utilizing the protein powder.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Gomukhasana” aka Cow Face Pose. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
I think June’s BuddhiBox was one of my favorites to date! It included a lot of new-to-me brands/products, which is always nice to see. My favorite items this time were the mini massager, SPF powder, Suburban Monk figurine, and protein powder. The total value of everything this month was an impressive $85! 🙂
