Let’s see what’s in my March 2016 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s 109World, an organization that supports an individual’s ability to change the world for the better.
Mind Over Lather Natural Yoga Mat Cleaning Spray ($12) – I looove the smell of lemongrass, so while I don’t have a yoga mat to clean, I’m going to have to find an alternative use for this spray. (Oh! — I just noticed that the info card says that it can also be used to freshen up linens, furniture, cars, etc. Yay!) This all natural cleaner includes eucalyptus and tea tree oils, which are both antibacterial and antiviral. It also smells incredible.
Bear’s Beauty Natural Deodorant ($12) – More lemongrass!! This handmade, vegan-friendly deodorant is made with all natural ingredients including kaolin clay, coconut oil, shea butter, hemp oil, baking soda, and pure essential oils. It’s aluminum-free and claims to be just as effective as commercial deodorants.
Iron Horse Creations Wrap Bracelet ($12) – A pretty yellow wrap bracelet that’s perfect for spring. It features two metal charms and is adjustable to fit all wrist sizes.
Soulful Essence Meditation Station Affirmation Roll-On ($20) – The only personal fragrances that I use are essential-oil/aromatherapy based, so I’m always happy to try out new blends. This one is described as “grounding & introspective” and features juniper & frankincense with a coconut oil base.
Kiss Me Honey Strawberry Lip Balm ($5) – I’ve gotten quite a few lip balms from Kiss Me/My Honey, but I think this is the first time I’ve received strawberry. (I think I usually get mint.) This balm is all natural and made with beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, Vitamin E, grapefruit seed, and essential oils.
Yoga for You Online Free Month Card ($20) – Enjoy a free month of this virtual yoga and fitness studio that offers steaming yoga classes, guided meditations, pilates classes, and more.
March’s featured yoga pose was “Ardha Chandrasana — aka Half Moon Pose”. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
This month’s featured recipe was for Raw Vegan Zucchini Pasta with Basil Pesto.
Another nice collection of yogi-inspired items from BuddhiBox! I love that not one, but two of the items were scented with lemongrass. Mmm! This box definitely had major spring vibes goin’ on. 🙂 Oh — and the total value of all the items was just over $80. Impressive!
