Let’s see what’s in my March 2018 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
BuddhiBox now sends their “boxes” in reusable canvas bags. Every bag features a new yogi-inspired phrase/mantra each month.
An info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
Matr Boomie Scarf ($26)
This pretty blue/green scarf was handmade by Indian artisans using all natural dyes on 100% cotton fabric. It features an almost symmetrical lotus flower print, which at first glance I mistook as butterflies. The ends are detailed with a row of fringe tassels for added flair. The scarf is lightweight and perfect for the upcoming warmer months.
Orglamix Turmeric Face Scrub ($24)
Now this is one vibrantly colored facial scrub! Made with organic turmeric, this scrub/mask works to help reduce acne, scars, wrinkles, and rosacea. It also instantly brightens dull skin, leaving it invigorated and glowing. It’s made with all natural ingredients and is both gluten-free and vegan friendly.
Jasmine Seven Peppermint Fresh Feet Wipes ($6)
These handy, alcohol-free feet wipes are great for freshening up after yoga or a day at the beach. They’re peppermint scented and infused with aloe & Vitamin E to sooth the skin while leaving them smelling fresh. Great for kids too!
Art Naturals Konjac Facial Sponge Set ($10)
This set includes 2 all natural konjac sponges, both of which are made from 100% pure vegetable roots. The white sponge can be used daily to gently exfoliate and remove dirt & toxins, while the black (bamboo charcoal) sponge is best used once a week for deeper cleansing. Both sponges help to fight acne, minimize pores, and promote new cell growth. The set also includes a small suction cup to dry the sponges between uses.
Copper Cup Turmeric Latte 3-Pack ($10)
An instant latte drink made with all natural, organic ingredients including coconut milk powder, coconut sugar, turmeric powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. To make, just pour contents of one packet into a cup, add 8-12 ounces of hot water or milk, top with honey or cinnamon, and enjoy. I was happy to see that the latte is both vegan-friendly and caffeine free.
Yoga International Ayurveda Women’s Health Conference & 30 Day Free Trial ($143)
Also included was a special offer for BuddhiBox subscribers that entitled them to a free 30-day Yoga International online membership and access to the Ayurveda Women’s Health Online Conference.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Parivrtta Vtkatasana” (aka Revolved Chair Pose). Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
March’s BuddhiBox included a nice variety of products to both accessorize and nourish your body. My favorites were the Matr Boomie scarf, Jasmine Seven Peppermint Feet Wipes, and Copper Cup Turmeric Lattes. The total value of everything in March’s box was $76 — not including the $143 Yoga International offer! 🙂 — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
