The BuddhiBox box.
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s Rise Yoga for Youth, an organization that brings yoga and wellness education to schools in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Yogasana: The Encyclopedia of Yoga Poses by Yogrishi Vishvketu, PhD ($23.38 Amazon) – This comprehensive book is packed with over 800 different yoga poses! They’re all performed by renowned practitioner Yogrishi Vishvketu and range from beginner through advanced. Each pose includes its accurate Sanskrit name, English translation, the Chakra that it activates, and photographs showing how to perform each one.
Great Soles Grip Socks ($12) – These comfy socks are designed with little “grippies” that help you hold your yoga poses. They’re made with a natural cotton blend to keep your feet cool and comfortable.
Elle Jewels Elephant Strength Bracelet ($20) – A dainty silver bracelet adorned with a little elephant charm. According to Hindu beliefs, elephants are considered to be a symbol of luck, fortune, and protection. This bracelet can serve as a reminder to always stay strong and have faith that things will work out.
House of Good Juju Mother’s Day Love & Light Tealight Candle ($3.50) – I love these little candles! This is the second one I’ve gotten and it’s just as pretty as the last. It’s infused with essential oils of lavender, jasmine, grapefruit, and patchouli — all of which smell fantastic. The top is adorned with lavender, rose petals, and rose quartz which all work together to banish negative energy and restore love & harmony.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts (~$1) – For a while there I was receiving these every few weeks in various subscription boxes… I’ve been kinda missing them, so I was happy to see ’em pop up again. They’re raw shelled hemp seeds that are great for sprinkling on cereal, yogurt, and salads for a healthy dose of plant-based protein.
Stinky Yogi Natural Perfume ($30) – A 100% natural perfume made with therapeutic-grade essential oils and other (all natural) ingredients. This was listed as a “BuddhiBox Bonus” — one of their favorite products from past boxes.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Balasana” aka Child’s Pose. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card. When I did yoga, this was one of my favorite poses. So relaxing!
Another nicely curated selection of products from BuddhiBox. My favorite items were the socks, candle, and Hemp Hearts. The total value of all the items in the May box was almost $90! Woah!
