BuddhiBox is a brand new subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living. Each month you’ll receive 4-6 products (a mix of samples and full sized items) to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
I’m always excited to check out new subscription boxes, so when my BuddhiBox arrived I couldn’t wait to tear it open. This box doesn’t ship until November 10th, so since I got mine ahead of time I had no idea what would be inside.
Let’s open up this box!
First look. My package was sent via priority mail and the actual BuddhiBox was nestled inside.
The November 2014 Buddhibox
Second “first” look. It’s always nice to see brand new boxes with such nice presentation (customized boxes, stickers, etc.). It shows that they care and plan on being around for a while. At least, that’s what it says to me. (So it must be true, right? ha.)
The info card. Okay, so I suppose they could improve on this a bit. Mainly the size of the (teeny tiny) text. It’s hands down the smallest font I’ve ever seen on an info card. Like, smaller than the list of ingredients on a bottle of travel sized shampoo small. That said, I’d rather have tiny text on a card than no card at all. So, I’ll let it slide. For now. 😉
Great Soles Yoga Socks ($13) – Socks! I love these. While they’re designed for yoga (the little “grippies” on the bottom help you hold your poses), they’re cool for everyday wear too. (Well, around the house anyway.) The ballet style look is super cute and while they look to be on the smaller size, they stretch to fit sizes 6-10. Good news for those (me) with big ol’ feet.
Coye Candle Co. Blood Orange Soy Candle ($10) – If it were up to me every subscription box would come with a candle. Every. One. Beauty boxes, snack boxes, all of ’em. This all natural, eco-friendly candle is made with 100% pure soy wax and essential oils. The scent is blood orange and I cannot stop sniffing it. It smells incredible. Mmmmm!
Dye Ties Groovy Hair Ties ($14) – These colorful hair ties are hand-dyed and hand-tied right here in the US. They won’t pull, dent, or damage your hair and they come in a ton of different colors, styles, and patterns.
Real Beauty for a Cause Coconut Lemon Scrub ($11) – Wow… Just like the candle, I could sniff this stuff for days… It’s a coconut lemon scrub made with raw organic sugar cane granules, virgin coconut oil, and lemon essential oil. All of the products made by Real Beauty for a Cause are responsibly sourced, ethically created and never tested on animals. They also donate 10% of every purchase to charity.
Jo-Sha Essential Peppermint Oil Wipes ($4) – Chemical-free wipes made with natural essential oils. Use these to clean your yoga mat, work area, hands and feet… or anywhere that could use a little freshening up.
Raw Revolution Chunky Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar ($2) – This bar is made with certified organic and mostly raw ingredients including chia and sprouted flax seeds. It’s also gluten-free, vegan, and delicious.
There was also a card for 50% off Yoga Digest magazine. Subscribers will get November’s issue included in their box as well. (It wasn’t printed in time for my review box.)
I was very impressed with the first offering from BuddhiBox. It included a fun mix of products that can be used by both yogis and non-yogis alike. The products were all high quality, eco-friendly, and useful. What more could you ask for?
If you’d like to sign up for BuddhiBox, monthly subscriptions are $30.95 (less with longer commitments), but you can save $5 on your first box by using the promo code “Rosebuds” at checkout!

nice little box. I could use a candle in every box, too. LOL especially soy candles. There is no such thing as too many candles!

Agreed!! 🙂
