November BuddhiBox unboxing time!
If you’re new here, BuddhiBox is a subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living. Each month you’ll receive 4-6 full sized products to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $30.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. They also offer a sample box for $11.95/month that includes 2-3 product samples and coupons. — New subscribers can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
Let’s see what’s in my November 2016 BuddhiBox!
The box!
A peek inside.
There’s usually an info card included, but it was missing this month so let’s just jump right to the items!
Co-Pur Lavender Lime Body Balm ($15) – This body balm is made with 100% natural ingredients including coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and essential oils (lavender & lime for this particular scent). It’s designed to help relieve dry/cracked feet and elbows, but you can use it wherever you need a little extra hydration.
Vega Coffee (~$5) – Vega Coffee works directly with small farms and their product is packaged and roasted by the same farmers who grew it. By selling direct to you, farmers earn more, and you can get premium, single origin coffee at an affordable price.
Deborah Thomsen Walker Cards (~$10) – A set of 4 blank all occasion cards (with matching envelopes) featuring beautiful watercolor illustrations by artist Deborah Thomsen Walker. Each card is printed on recycled paper with vibrant soy-based inks. The colors on these are absolutely gorgeous!
Auromere Himalayan Rose Ayurvedic Soap ($5.20) – An authentic hand-crafted ayurvedic soap designed especially for dry & sensitive skin. It’s made with a fragrant blend of Indian and Damascus roses combined with 15 complementary ayurveda herbal extracts & oils selected for their gentle cleansing and conditioning effect. The bar is vegan, gluten-free, and 100% biodegradable.
Urban Siren Headband (~$5?) – The website listed on this product’s tag isn’t working at the moment, so I’m not sure on a value. That said, I’m really digging the neat (rapids? clouds?) design on this headband.
Bedrock and Bloom Smart Ash ($3) – Smart Ash is an all natural teeth whitener and detoxifier made with activated coconut shell charcoal, calcium bentonite clay, and organic orange peel & mint extracts. I’ve gotten this in quite a few subscription boxes this year and I’m kinda over it to be honest.
Honestly, I feel like this month’s BuddhiBox was kind of a letdown. Three of the items were recently featured in previous boxes and it was odd not to receive any printed info (especially considering there’s usually a product card, yoga pose card, and special offers). Ah well, here’s hoping December’s box makes up for it! — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
