Let’s see what’s in my October 2016 BuddhiBox!
The white & green BuddhiBox box.
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s the Circuelle Foundation, a non-profit organization that has a unique focus centered on reaching young women to help provide breast health education with healthy rituals.
Shiva Arts Om Deity Scarf ($25) – I’ve been wearing scarves on a daily basis, so I’ll definitely be working this pretty om and deity shawl into my rotation. The purple color is a lot deeper in person with a more subtle burgundy colored print. It’s incredibly soft and big enough to be used as a wrap.
Dermadeli Pumpkin Seed Serum ($29) – This pumpkin seed serum is packed with antioxidants and nutrients to help deeply heal and nourish the skin. They claim that you’ll see & feel immediate results on dry skin, thanks to its ultra hydrating formula. It can be used on the face, legs, arms, knees, elbows, or anywhere that needs an extra dose of hydration.
Satwa Sandalwood Incense ($8) – Subscribers received either a Wellsmith Shea Butter Tin or this box of Satwa Sandalwood Incense. These incense are made using rare forms of natural botanicals, powders, and oils. Their scent helps to reestablish balance and harmony in mind & body.
I Love Gurus Conservation Bracelet ($6) – This dainty “conservation bracelet” is a twist on the typical wish bracelet. Wearing it should serve as a reminder to conserve, recycle and do good for the environment. For each bracelet sold, a tree is planted in a developing community. Neat!
Jo-Sha Peppermint Wipe ($2) – A chemical-free wipe made with natural essential oils. Use this to clean your yoga mat, work area, hands and feet… or anywhere that could use a little freshening up.
Chuao Chocolate Salted Chocolate Crunch Mini Bar ($2.50) – Woo! Vegan-friendly chocolate! 🙂 This little bar was handcrafted with ethically sourced cacao, toasted breadcrumbs, and other all natural ingredients. Yum!
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Camatkarasana” aka Wild Thing. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
I really enjoyed this month’s offering from BuddhiBox. The scarf is really pretty, the bracelet is dainty & cute, and I’m always happy to see vegan chocolate. The total value of all the items in October’s box was over $72! 🙂 Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
