Let’s see what’s in my October 2017 BuddhiBox!
BuddhiBox now sends their “boxes” in reusable canvas bags.
Each bag features a new yogi-inspired phrase/mantra every month.
The info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
Sincerely Different Achy Muscle Rub ($14)
My left arm has been sore for months, so this all natural muscle rub was most definitely a welcome surprise! It takes a few minutes to feel it working, but once it starts you’ll totally feel a difference. The formula is a tad bit greasy, but the invigorating (non-chemical!) scent more than makes up for it. Ingredients include eucalyptus, camphor, clary sage, clove, and peppermint oils.
Sat Nam Amazonite Mala Bead Bracelet ($25)
I didn’t see any brand info listed on the card, so I’m assuming this is a BuddhiBox exclusive. Inspired by the mantra “Sat Nam” (“Sat” = Truth, “Nam” = Identity), this bracelet features pretty blue Amazonite stones. Amazonite is said to be the stone of open-mindedness and can inspire you to nurture truth, honesty, honor, and positive self-love. I really like this bracelet, but unfortunately it’s too large for my teeny wrists. 🙁
Evelyn Iona Cosmetics Green Tea Primer ($29.50)
An antioxidant-rich makeup primer that creates a smooth canvas for makeup application, reduces the look of lines & pores, and helps your makeup last longer. It’s infused with organic green tea and avocado oil to deeply nourish & hydrate your skin. It’s also vegan-friendly and free of sulfates & parabens.
Rose Quartz Heart ($16)
Rose quartz — known as the “lover’s stone” — is said to possess special energies that can rejuvenate both the physical and spiritual being. Keep this pretty heart-shaped stone close to you to dispel negativity, restore harmony in relationships, and encourage self-forgiveness. I can certainly use all of the above!
Moondani Mystical Mint Natural Breath Mist ($9)
An all natural breath mist made with organic and non-GMO ingredients. It contains no additives, preservatives, alcohol, or sweeteners. It’s also 100% vegan!
Theramu To Go Relieve ($4)
Aw, I was actually excited to try another natural pain reliever until I discovered that this contains emu oil. Ah well. I’m sure my husband will be happy to try it out.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Parivrtta Natarajasana” (aka Shiva Twist). Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
October’s BuddhiBox featured a fun mix of items — from jewelry, to muscle rub, crystals, and more. My personal favorites were the muscle rub, rose quartz heart, and bracelet (even though it’s too big!). The total value of everything this month was $97.50! 🙂 — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
