A peek inside!
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s Children With Hairloss, an organization whose mission to empower children to become whole again by making hair replacement available to those who may be financially challenged and might otherwise not have a means of obtaining the hair they want and need.
Gogh Jewelry Design Buddha Charm Necklace ($29) – A dainty silver necklace featuring a 1/2 inch buddha flanked by a black pearl and red crystal. This was handmade in California and is great for wearing both on and off the mat.
BuddhiBox Mat Strap ($10) – A BuddhiBox exclusive item, this sturdy yoga strap has their inspirational message sewn right onto it. — “Get your buddhi on the mat”. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure how this works, but I’m guessing that actual yogis will know what’s up. 😉
Auromere Ayurveda Incense ($5) – 100% natural incense made according to ancient tradition. Each stick is hand-rolled from a dough made of natural resins, herbs, and essences used in the practice of ayurveda. Kasturi comes from the fruit of the Manjal tree and has a musk-like fragrance. It’s smoke is traditionally used to ease depression and “keep the inner flame of aspiration alive and constant”.
My Everyday Mantra Bookmark & Decal ($5) – A matching bookmark & decal with an inspirational message. — “Inhale, catch your thoughts that wander like butterflies. Exhale, and let them go.”
St. Tropica Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask ($5) – A chemical/paraben/sulfate-free hot oil hair treatment made with 100% organic ingredients. It boasts “hair superfoods” including virgin coconut oil, coconut butter, biotin, horsetail, and green tea. To use, just heat the BPA-free pouch in the microwave, apply to scalp, cover, and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight.
Gypsy Soul Organics Sister Wind Aromatherapy ($20) – This all natural aromatherapy spray contains a blend of eucalyptus, spearmint, and basil. Just a couple spritzes is said to activate the senses, energize the body, and awaken the spirit.
Sweat Cosmetics Skin Balancing Cleansing Towelette & Meditation Download ($10) – These were listed on the info card as bonus items. The vegan-friendly cleansing towelette balances and hydrates your skin with natural coconut water, vitamin E, green tea extract, and provitamin B5. Use it to remove makeup or cool down after a workout. A free 10-minute meditation was included to help you relax and “create the space you need to connect to your higher continuousness”.
September’s BuddhiBox wasn’t my favorite, but it wasn’t bad. I just personally don’t have use for the majority of the items. It was a great value as always though! — The total value of all the items in this month’s box was $84! 🙂 Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
