BuddhiBox is a subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living.
Each month you’ll receive 4-6 full sized products to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $30.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. They also offer a smaller box, the BBEO or BuddhiBox Essential Oils, that features 2-3 products including an essential oil. — New subscribers can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
Let’s see what’s in my September 2019 BuddhiBox!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box.
A peek inside!
An info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices.
BuddhiBox Eco-Friendly String Backpack ($15)
While BuddhiBox normally packs all of the items into a small canvas bag (printed with a yogi-inspired phrase/mantra), September’s contents were tucked into the roomier drawstring backpack above. The eco-friendly bag is printed with a green BuddhiBox logo which features the heart-shaped Bodhi leaf, a symbol of enlightenment. While I’m not likely to use this as an actual backpack, I find sturdy bags like this are great for carrying extra shoes when I travel.
Plantlife Breathe Easy Essential Oil Blend ($10)
I’m always happy to get more essential oils! “Breathe Easy” is designed to relieve stuffy noses & chest congestion, and can also be used to soothe muscle aches & pains. It contains a 100% natural blend of camphor, cedarleaf, cedarwood, peppermint, eucalyptus, fir needle, and rosemary.
Indo Love Pair of Hand-Stamped Rings ($36)
September’s box included not one, but two hand-stamped rings from Indo Love. The first was an aluminum ring stamped with the word “Breathe” and a tiny yogini in lotus pose at each end. The second ring was made of brass and stamped with the word “Prana”, along with infinity symbols on each end of the adjustable band. Both rings are to serve as a reminder to stay connected and just be.
Gypsy Soul Organics Sister Wind Yoga Mist ($25)
Create a more focused yoga session with the help of this all natural yoga mat spray. It contains a fragrant blend of lavender water, witch hazel, eucalyptus leaf, sweet basil leaf, and spearmint leaf. To use, shake well and simply spritz onto your face, neck, torso, yoga mat, or into the air.
Toe Talk Inhale Exhale Dandelion Socks ($10)
You’ll have a constant reminder to focus on your breathing when you rock these inhale/exhale socks from Toe Talk. The “left” sock is printed with the word “Inhale” next to a dandelion releasing its seeds, while the right sock has “Exhale” surrounded by more seeds. Unlike most of the socks BuddhiBox sends, these ones do NOT have grips on the bottom so they’d be more practical to wear after your yoga session.
BuddhiBox OM Mandala Sticker (Gift)
A square BuddhiBox OM mandala sticker was also included as a free gift. 🙂
This month’s featured yoga pose was not a pose at all, but a guide to yogic breathing or pranayama. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
Yet another nice selection of useful yogi-inspired items from BuddhiBox! My favorites this month were the Plantlife Breath Easy Essential Oil, Gypsy Soul Organics Yoga Mist, and Toe Talk Dandelion Socks. — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
