Okay, let’s see what’s in my February 2017 Candy Club box!
Everything shipped in a long box with the Candy Club logo on the top and sides.
A peek inside! — Since my box contained chocolate, everything was tucked under a sheet of insulated bubble wrap.
The candy!!
A small envelope contained info cards for all of the candies that I chose. Full ingredients and nutritional information were printed on the reverse side of each card.
The candies are all shipped in plastic lidded containers to keep them fresh.
Hershey Kisses Milk Chocolates
Even though I just chose these for my last box, I felt like I had to pick ’em again because they were a featured candy for Valentine’s Day. It also helps that everyone in my family loves Hershey Kisses. 😉
Gimbal’s Raspberry Chews
I chose these chewy raspberry flavored candies for two reasons: 1. They were (surprisingly) vegan-friendly. 2. They were reddish pink in color, and therefore could be deemed Valentine’s Day candy. 😉 They had a less gummy-like feel than I expected and a more subtle raspberry flavor that made them not overly sweet.
Zachary Dark Chocolate Covered Raisins
I also consider these chocolate covered raisins a Valentine’s treat because CHOCOLATE. All chocolate is welcome for V-Day, right? (Well, except maybe Santa or bunny shaped chocolates.) These plump raisins are coated with a thick shell of smooth dark chocolate and look delicious!
Sweet’s Sour Apple Totally Taffy
In addition to the 3 candies that I chose, I also received a “splash” of Sweet’s sour apple taffy. Instead of traditional pulled taffy, this is whipped — giving it a softer, less sticky texture.
Candy Club is a great subscription for Valentine’s Day and beyond! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time, you can get DOUBLE the candy in your first box — 6 tubs in all — for FREE! No coupon code needed. – OR – Get $20 off your first box just by using this link!
