Candy Club is a monthly subscription box for — Any guesses? — Yep, CANDY!
Every month you’ll get a box crammed with up to 3 pounds of assorted candies. That’s a whole lotta sweetness! Candy selections can range from hard candies to gummies, taffy, and everything in between. All candies are name brand and of the highest quality.
Boxes are $24.99/month or less with prepaid 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.
I was recently sent August’s Candy Club box for review, so let’s see what was inside!
First look. The box was heavier than I expected and had a fun, gift-worthy presentation.
Second look. So. Much. CANDY!
The enclosed info card detailed each of the candies included in the box. The nutritional information for each one was also printed on the back. (Very helpful for us vegans!)
Gimbal’s Sour Gourmet Jelly Beans – I’ve had Gimbal’s candies before and I love that they’re allergen friendly. They contain no dairy, nuts, soy, eggs, or gluten. All of the ones I’ve tried (including these) also contain no gelatin. Yay! They do, however, have artificial flavors and colors… But hey, this is a candy box. If you’re looking for healthy treats, you best look elsewhere. 😉
Sour Power Wild Cherry Belts – These remind me of Sour Patch Kids, if someone took all the red ones and ran them over with a semi truck. Apparently this is a newer flavor. I also spotted strawberry, green apple, and raspberry on Amazon.
Haribo Gummi Techno Bears – These are like regular gummi bears on LSD. (Uh, I probably shouldn’t mention LSD in a post about candy, should I?… Eh, too late! 😉 ) These bright, almost metallic looking bears come in flavors including cherry, apple, and sour raspberry.
Butterfields Peach Buds – This is the “special bonus treat” for August. These Peach Buds have been a popular confection since their introduction in the 1920’s. They’re little hard candies whose flavor is a mix of peach nectar and coconut.
Sweet’s Salt Water Taffy – I used to LOVE salt water taffy (damn you, egg whites!). These are from Sweet’s Candy Company and are actually whipped, as opposed to pulled, giving them a super soft/non-sticky texture. The info card says these are cotton candy flavored.
Since I don’t buy it very often, I had no idea what bulk candy normally sold for, but judging by the prices on Amazon, Candy Club is a great deal! I’m thinking this would be a fun thing for coworkers to go in on and share at the office. Personally, I could never consume this much candy in one month, but I’m sure others would happily take on the challenge. 😉
If you’d like to sign up for Candy Club, you can save 35% off your first month using the promo code “35offjs2b01″.

That does look pretty, if there was a vegan version I’d be all over it (although I’d probably only buy a month at a time, there’s no way I’d get through all of that in a month either)! There is a vegan salt water taffy made by Florida Candy Factory, I’ve never tried it myself but it might be worth it if it was something you really used to like?

Oooh! Thanks for letting me know! I’ll check it out. 🙂

Woah, that is a lot of candy! I love the packaging I think I would re-use those tins for my daughters craft stuff. Love the pictures on your review !
