Caring Crate is a new monthly subscription box curated especially for adults with chronic illness, mental health issues, or anyone who needs a little extra self-care.
Each box will include 4 to 5 high quality, full-sized products that are aimed at helping you take care of your mental and physical wellness. Items can include aromatherapy, journals, herbal teas, snacks, coloring books, jewelry, and more. If you choose to send a box as a gift, Caring Crate will also include a handwritten note to the recipient.
Subscriptions are $39.95/month (plus shipping), or less with multi-month commitments.

Potting Shed Creations Garden-in-a-Bag – Lavender ($12.95) – This “garden in a bag” has everything needed to grown your own lavender plant. It contains organic seeds, coconut husks for drainage, growing medium, and a leak-proof bag. Just follow the included instructions and your plant should start growing within 8 weeks or less. Lavender is widely known for its natural calming effects, so this was a great inclusion!
Mindful Mandala Cards ($16.99) – I love this! I always wish I could find more time to sit down and color in the books I get from subscription boxes. Since that rarely happens, these little cards are the perfect alternative. There are 24 cards (measuring 3.5″ x 3.5″) in all, featuring a mandala on one side and an inspiring quote on the other. The set also comes with 12 small colored pencils in a kraft paper tube whose cap has a built-in sharpener. Bonus: A percentage of every purchase goes to support mental health and wellness programs!
Scratch & Grain Coffee Cake & Muffin Kit (~$12) – Ooh! I can’t wait to make this. I haven’t had coffee cake since going vegan (in 2003), so I was thrilled to see that the box included instructions for “veganizing” it. Heck yes! The mix is all natural and each ingredient is separately packaged so you can customize it as you wish.
Fable Naturals Lemon & Lavender Organic Body Balm ($11) – Mmm… This smells SO good. The perfect blend of lemon and lavender. Made with fair trade ingredients, this versatile balm can be used on parched lips, dry elbows, chapped hands, flyaway hair, cracked heels, and more.
Pluck Teas – The box also included two teabags from Pluck Teas — “After Dinner Mint” and “Spa Day”. The teas are made with organic ingredients from sustainably managed gardens and are custom blended in small batches.
I am SO impressed with this first offering from Caring Crate! The box was full of items that were high quality, useful, and fun to receive. This box would be great to send as a gift to someone in need of a little cheering up, or to yourself just because. 😉 — The value was nice too, with over $50 in products (using Amazon prices).

I really like the concept of this box since I fit the requirements of someone who needs it. The mandala cards are great. My hand is not as steady as it used to be and I am not good at combining colors required by the larger pages. Thanks for showing the review.
