Cheer ‘Em Up is a new subscription service that offers surprise boxes to send to a loved one or yourself.
Each “Cheer Box” will contain 10-12 items guaranteed to make you — or your intended recipient — smile. Boxes can include fun novelties, quality bath or beauty products, edible treats and sweets, and more. If you choose to send it as a gift, you’ll have the option to change where its shipped every month just by logging into your account. So you’ll be able to send it to your best friend this month, your mom next month, and so on. Cheer ‘Em Up also offers a “Little Box of Cheer” for older adults which doesn’t contain anything that’s difficult to read, open, etc.
Subscriptions are $35/month plus shipping. — For a limited time, you can save 10% on your first box with coupon code “MARCHMADNESS“.
Let’s see what’s in my March 2016 Cheer ‘Em Up “Cheer Box”!
The box was shipped via priority mail and featured a colorful Cheer ‘Em Up sticker on the side.
Taped to the inside lid was a cheerful message for the recipient and polka dot tissue paper covered the items below.

When you make your order, you’ll also have the option of including a personal note with the box as shown above.
Design Originals Color Love Coloring Book – I love the new adult coloring trend, and while I don’t get time to do it often, I still enjoy receiving new books. This one is a compact size, making it great for taking with you on the go. It has 28 love-themed illustrations, as well as some helpful coloring tips and techniques at the beginning of the book.
Washable Markers – To go along with the coloring book, they’ve included a pack of 18 markers. I was happy to see that they’re washable, since they’ll probably get stolen by my kiddos. 😉
Ty Beanie Baby Purple Bear – A cuddly new friend is a nice choice for someone in need of cheering up!
Hope Dream Believe Notepad – A pretty notepad with a magnetic closure that features a sparkly green jewel. The pages are all printed with a colorful floral/butterfly motif.
Smiley Face Pen – A fun, but useful novelty pen adorned with multi-colored smiley faces.
Treats – A pack of giant Smarties candies and a classic Rice Krispies Treat… because sugar makes everyone happier. 😉
Esprit Socks – Until now, I had always thought the name of this brand was E-Spirit. Weird. Anywhooo… New socks are always nice to receive. These ones feature bold pink and green polka-dots.
Nail File – A super colorful, super bling-ed out nail file! One side features rows of sparkly colored jewels, while the other is green with yellow polka dots. (So many polka dots in this box!)
Lila Grace Hand Cream – A travel-sized tube of fresh cotton scented hand cream. It’s enriched with shea butter for extra hydration.
Glow Heart – A glow-in-the-dark light stick with a glowing heart on its end. My kiddos are going to love this!
Lindt Lindor Truffles – Lastly, chocolate truffles. Because you can’t go wrong with chocolate. 😉
The Cheer ‘Em Up Cheer Box was definitely fun to open and would be great to receive when you’re feeling down. This box is clearly more about sending simple, useful items rather than “high-end” type products. A nice, affordable alternative to sending flowers! 🙂 For a limited time, you can save 10% on your first box with coupon code “MARCHMADNESS“.

Love the notepad. Would buy just for the Lindor “balls”.

Beware, once you give this company your email address (even if you don’t proceed to order one of their ridiculously expensive products), they will email you incessantly. Repeated requests to unsubscribe are ignored. I did not sign up for a lifetime of spam, and this is definitely not making me cheerful.
