Let’s see what’s in my November/December 2019 Chic Beauty Box!
Everything was shipped in a small pink box with the Chic Beauty Box logo on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card listed all of the items in November/December’s box, along with a short description and retail value for each one. [Note: I believe the prices are in Canadian dollars.]
Huda Beauty Gemstone Palette ($36)
What a pretty eyeshadow palette! This was definitely the highlight of the box for me. The palette features nine incredibly gorgeous metallic, duo-chrome shades in shimmering jewel tones. The shadows are highly pigmented and easily blendable, allowing for some seriously bold & colorful looks. 🙂
NYX Ombre Lip Duo ($16, linked to similar)
This lip duo from NYX features two coordinating shades of lip liner and satiny matte lipstick to create the perfect ombre lip. I’m honestly not much of a fan of the ombre trend, as I feel that it just looks like your lipstick is wearing off in the center. But that’s just me. 😉
Hard Candy Waterproof Gel Eyeliner ($5.98, linked to similar)
I don’t wear eyeliner as often as I used to, but it’s always nice to have some on hand for when I do. This gel pen liner features 12-hour wear and includes a built-in sharpener & smudger for the ultimate smokey eye look.
Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Gloss ($8.99)
At first, I thought this was a concealer stick, but it’s actually a lip gloss. The color — Sandy Sensation — kind of threw me off. I also wasn’t able to find this stick form on Amazon, as it looks like it now comes as a liquid with a brush applicator. Weird.
Becca Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector ($39)
This papaya-tinted color corrector is designed to neutralize the appearance of blue or green imperfections on the skin. The formula helps to even out the skin tone, while its subtle luminosity works to blur imperfections and dark spots. To use, simply pat onto the areas of concern and follow up with your favorite concealer or foundation.
Milani Easybrow Tinted Fiber Gel ($9.99)
I believe this is a bonus item, as it wasn’t listed on the info card. (I also believe it may be a little dried out, as seen in the second photo, but I’m not positive.) The 3-in-1 tinted brow gel is designed to give you buildable color, create fullness, and keep the hairs in place.
The November/December Chic Beauty Box was a big of a mixed bag (box?) for me. Some of the items/shades were hard to find and seemed to be discontinued, however I loved the Huda Beauty palette — which alone was worth $27. The info card listed a total retail value of $105.97 (Canadian) NOT including the mystery gift, which is clearly a great deal. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can score a FREE bonus mystery item in your first box with coupon code FREEGIFT!

I got the November box and I loved it especially the huda pallete. I have also seen spoilers for their January box on their IG page. I think that would be even better than this one.
