Clean Bar Box time! — January’s box is all about ringing in the new year with “fresh and sweet scents”.

Let’s see what’s in the January 2016 Clean Bar Box!

The box! This month the post office decided to put one of their silly tracking stickers over the logo. I tried to peel it off the best I could, but alas, part of it insisted on sticking around. Har har.

As always, the box included a handwritten note on top of the soaps.

I received the “Large” Clean Bar Box. As mentioned earlier, January’s soaps featured “fresh and sweet scents to start the New Year off right”.

Raspberry Mint Soap – I think this might be the prettiest bar I’ve received from Clean Bar Box to date! The colors remind me of my favorite shade of hair dye that I rocked in high school. 😉 It has a sweet, fruity scent with a touch of mint to keep it from being too sweet. It’s definitely a nice balance.

Apricot Chamomile Soap – I’m not really a huge fan of chamomile, but thankfully the apricot in this bar does well at overshadowing it. The scent is actually pretty light and reminds me of early springtime. A nice contrast to the bolder raspberry mint bar.

Oatmeal Spice Soap – For some reason, I don’t get much of an oatmeal vibe from this one. It smells more earthy/woodsy to me. Definitely more spicy than oatmeal-y, anyway. The little brown specks throughout are ground cloves for exfoliation. 🙂

Pomegranate Cherry Soap – Mmm… You can absolutely smell the cherry fragrance in this one! I love the pretty purple stripes too.

January’s Clean Bar Box had a nice mix of scents. My favorite was probably the apricot chamomile, which is odd since I usually like stronger scented bars… The fruity ones were great too and I loved the pretty purple coloring. A good supply of soaps to start the new year!
