I’ve been a subscriber of Conscious Box for a few months now and I’m always pretty impressed with the variety of products I receive. July’s box was no exception. (You can see my past reviews here.)
If you’re not aware, Conscious Box is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly/natural products. Items range from healthy snacks, to natural toothpaste, and everything in between. There are 3 different boxes to choose from: The Vegan Box (which I get), The Gluten-Free Box, and the Classic Box. All boxes are $19.95/month, but you can almost always find a coupon code — often up to 50% off! (Right now you can use the code “FREEBOX” to get your first box free — Just pay $7.00 for shipping! Click here!)
Alright, let’s see what I got in this month’s box…
Beanfield’s Bean & Rice Chips – Salt n’ Pepper – This is the 4th or 5th bag of Beanfield’s that I’ve gotten in a sub box. I’ve seen this flavor before, so I was happy to try something new. They tasted exactly as described — salty & peppery. To be honest, I could do without the pepper… It just didn’t do anything for me. I still ate the whole bag though. 🙂
Ancient Minerals Goodnight Magnesium Lotion – I didn’t know you could up your magnesium levels with lotion, but, well… now I do! This also contains melatonin to ease you into dreamland. Packet contains enough lotion for 3 uses.
Blossom Organics Natural Moisturizing Lubricant – I wasn’t kidding when I said they send a nice variety of products. 😉 This is all-natural lube for… things that need lubing. It’s aloe-based and non-irritating (well that’s good!).
BWC Beauty Without Cruelty Aromatherapy Shampoo – This is a decently sized sample of cruelty-free shampoo. It’s paraben-free, vegan, and contains natural essential oils.
Bambooee Reusable Bamboo Towel – This one towel can be used up to 100 times! It’s made with sustainable bamboo and is machine washable. Twenty of these towels equals about 286 rolls of regular paper towels. Crazy! I’ll definitely be putting this to good use.
Similasan Computer Eye Relief Drops – 100% natural eye drops. 2 single-use droppers are included. Putting stuff in my eyes terrifies me, so I’ll be passing these along to someone who’s less of a wussy.
Jack N’ Jill Natural Toothpaste – Yay! I love getting kid-friendly toothpaste in boxes! This is free of chemicals, fluoride, and all that other junk that’s often in conventional toothpaste. It’s flavored with all natural organic raspberries. Yum!
Eco-Gecko Wooden Cutlery – Um, yeah. This is just a tiny wooden spoon. Kind of a weird addition to a sub box, but whatever. It’s made from birch wood and is totally biodegradable. Yep.
Teeccino French Roast Herbal Coffee – I’ve had these before and they’re pretty good. It’s an all-natural, caffeine-free coffee alternative in tea bag form. Organic & non-acidic.
Vanilla Chaga TGRT Raw Tea – This is a tea that can be brewed to drink, or brewed in your tub to soak in. Weird. It’s made with chaga, which is a beneficial fungus, which means I will NOT be drinking it. Bath soak, it is!
Good Nature Linden Tea – 100% organic tea. Fungus-free! 😉
Flavrz Natural Liquid Drink Mix – I’ve gotten these in previous Conscious Boxes and they’re actually pretty good. Just mix them in with your glass of water for a nice flavor boost. It’s made with agave syrup and natural fruit flavors.
Ultima Replenisher – I tried this last week during our nasty heatwave and it was very refreshing. It’s full of nutrients and nothing artificial.
Hydration Factor – This was also used during the recent heatwave. It helps “improve intracellular hydration and regulates thirst”. Perfect timing. It tasted a lot like the Ultima stuff — lemony and refreshing.
Last Round Hangover Support – I rarely drink, so I’m not sure that I’ll ever need this, but I guess it’s good to have on hand just in case. It’s an all-natural supplement that helps remove alcohol and detoxify your body. Cool, bro.
So that’s my July Conscious Box. A nice mix of products, right? You never know what you’re gonna get and the box is always packed full of stuff. So fun!
