Daily Dose of Green is a monthly subscription box that offers eco-friendly products for $15/month (shipping included). They include a variety of products from skincare/makeup, to healthy snacks, to household items. You can check out my past reviews right here.
This month’s theme was “Summertime Fun” and included a variety of products to help you have a “greener” summer!
Let’s see what they included…
Homefree Gluten Free Cookies (Vanilla & Chocolate Chip) – Yesss!! I love these cookies! They sent the chocolate chip ones in last month’s box, and right after I ate them, I wanted more. SO good. You’d never know they were gluten/dairy free!
Bee Organic 1 oz Candle – This tiny candle is supposed to “give off negative ions that remove dust, dirt, odors, viruses, mold, and other products from the air”. Talk about a powerful little candle! It’s made with 100% beeswax and produces a light honey scent.
Beanfield’s Bean & Rice Chips (Pico de Gallo) – I’ve had these chips in 2 other flavors — (vegan) Nacho and Sea Salt — but I’ve yet to try this one. I think it’s neat that they’re made from beans, instead of corn. Gotta love guilt-free snacking.
Graw Bar Sprouted Energy Bar (Banana Coconut) – I’ve gotten these in other boxes and was surprised at how good they were. Not all “raw” bars are created equal (some are just plain nas-tay!), but this one is quite yummy. It’s made with mostly organic ingredients and is dairy/gluten-free.
Essence of Vali Sleep Oil – Ugh. I keep getting these damn things. I’ve reviewed them a couple times now, and let’s just say, I’m not a fan. Thankfully, my mom is, so I’ll be passing these along to her.
Original Sprout Face & Body Sunscreen – This is all natural and safe for sensitive skin. It won Babble’s Best Sunscreen Award, so people must really like this stuff. It’s non-greasy and free of yucky chemicals. I just wish it was a larger sample.
Bee Organic Whipped Face Cream – Natural moisturizing cream for the face and other dry/sensitive areas. High in antioxidants. Helps to minimize dark spots and other blemishes. Again, I just wish it was a larger size.
Goody Good Stuff Gummies – These were included as a “bonus”. I’ve gotten them in another box and was surprised by how good they were. I’m usually not a fan of this kind of candy, but it was strangely addictive. It’s made without gelatin/dairy, which makes it safe for vegans. Though not quite a “health food”, it IS all natural and free of artificial colors/flavors. Yum!
Once again, I was pretty satisfied with the contents of my Daily Dose of Green box. Sadly, this was the last of my 3-month subscription and I think I’m going to take a little break from them. I’ve just been getting SO many boxes lately and need to cut back a little (says my husband!). 🙁
