Time for another Daily Goodie Box review!
If you haven’t heard, Daily Goodie Box is unlike typical subscription boxes because it’s always 100% free! All you have to do is become a member (also free) and fill out a personal profile on their site. If you meet the requirements for a Goodie Box — based on various factors like demographics, interest in current products, etc. — you’ll be eligible for a box and shipped one for free. Each box will feature samples of various food, drink, and personal care items which you’ll be asked to review in your online profile. The more reviews you do, the better your chances of getting chosen for future boxes.
Let’s see what’s in my December 2016 Daily Goodie Box!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Daily Goodie Box logo on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card reminded me to review all of the products in my account, where they were listed with photos and links to each respective website.
Protes Spicy Chili Lime Protein Chips – I had never heard of this brand before receiving this box, but was immediately happy to see the word “vegan” right on the front of the bag. 😉 These chips are made in Brooklyn, NY and are packed with 15 grams of plant-based protein per serving. They’re also non-GMO and gluten-free.
The Chia Co – Chia Shots 10 Pack – I’ve been using chia seeds in my daily smoothies for a few months now, so I was excited to see these handy chia “shots” in the box. Right now I have a big ol’ bag that I just pour into my cup a little at a time without actually measuring. These pre-portioned “shots” make it a lot easier to get the exact amount that I need. Chia is the highest plant-based source of omega 3, fiber, & protein and it’s full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Quest Nutrition Cinnamon Cereal Protein Bar – A cinnamon roll flavored protein bar with 12 grams of protein, 7 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of net carbs per serving. It’s also gluten-free.
Bitsy’s Brainfood Orange Chocolate Beet Smart Cookies – Alphabet-shaped cookies made with organic, non-GMO ingredients. These are made in a peanut-free & tree nut-free facility and are an excellent source of Vitamins A, B12, B6, D3, and folic acid. My kids love anything having to do with letters, so I’m sure they’ll be all about these cookies!
Natralia Anti-itch Soothing Cream – A cortisone-free anti-itch cream made with natural colloidal oatmeal and menthol to relieve itchy and dry skin. It soothes irritation and rashes caused by insect bites, sunburn, poison oak, ivy, and sumac, and eczema.
Darrell Lea Strawberry Flavor Liquorice – Strawberry flavored licorice pieces made in Australia using all natural flavors including real licorice extract. They’re also free of preservatives, GMOs, trans fat, and high fructose corn syrup.
Crunchmaster Multi-Seed Crackers – I’ve had these crackers quite a few times thanks to subscription boxes and while I don’t love them, they’re not bad for an occasional nibble. They’re made with 100% whole grains & seeds and are both gluten-free & vegan-friendly.
DudeProducts Quick DUDE Shower Wipe – This handy “dude shower” is actually a thick, washcloth-like wipe that can help freshen you up when a shower just isn’t possible. It’s both alcohol & paraben free and is enriched with aloe & Vitamin E to soothe the skin as it cleanses. It’s also fragrance free.
Älsa Energy Drink Mix – A trio of flavored drink mixes that provide a dose of sustained energy without the crash of typical energy drinks. Each packet is packed with vitamins, electrolytes, and other clinically tested premium ingredients. Contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors, or preservatives.
SmartyPants Adult Probiotic Complete – Non-GMO probiotic gummy vitamins that help support your immune system and aid in digestion. These usually contain gelatin, but I don’t see it listed in these particular gummies, so that’s cool.
Another nice selection of items from the Daily Goodie Box. 🙂
