Daily Goodie Box is unlike the typical subscription boxes I review because it’s always 100% free!
All you have to do is become a member (also free) and fill out a personal profile on their site. If you meet the requirements for a Goodie Box — based on various factors like demographics, interest in current products, etc. — you’ll be eligible for a box and shipped one for free. Each box will feature samples of various food, drink, and personal care items which you’ll be asked to review in your online profile. The more reviews you do, the better your chances of getting chosen for future boxes.
Let’s see what’s in my October 2016 Daily Goodie Box!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Daily Goodie Box logo on top.
A peek inside!
An insert card reminded me to review all of the products in my account, where they were listed with photos and links to each respective website.
Beanitos Black Bean Chips – Yay, bean chips! These are made with real whole black beans, long grain rice, and other natural ingredients. They’re vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and packed with protein & fiber. Love ’em!
Justin’s Honey Peanut Butter & Banana Chips – I love Justin’s products (especially their almond butter), but I had no idea they made these little snack packs. This convenient on-the-go snack includes honey flavored peanut butter and organic banana chips for dipping. Mmm!
Q Drinks Ginger Beer – Made in Brooklyn, NY, this ginger beer is made with real ginger root, organic agave, and other natural ingredients. I’ve never actually had ginger beer before, so this should be interesting.
Hampton Creek Just Mayo – I was super excited to see these Just Mayo packets in the box! It’s a 100% vegan mayo alternative that I have a big ol’ tub of in our fridge as I type. These packets are perfect for taking on the go.
Navitas Naturals Superfood Bars – These tasty superfood bars are crafted in small batches, using only certified organic, plant-based and minimally processed ingredients. I sampled the Cacao Cranberry bar already and it was delicious. 🙂
Van Holten’s Pickle-Ice – A vegan-friendly, electrolyte-enhanced pickle flavored freeze pop. According to their website, these pops help keep your body hydrated, balanced, and performing at peak levels. Interesting…
Gutsy Chewy Citrus Tablets – All natural digestive supplements made with plant-based ingredients including papaya, licorice root, and apple cider vinegar. The chewable tablets are gluten free, lactose free and vegan friendly.
JJ’s Sweets Cocomels Coconut Milk Caramels – COCOMELS!! These things are SO good. I first discovered them in a snack subscription box a couple years ago and it was love at first bite. They taste just like the non-vegan caramels I used to enjoy — only even better.
Nootrobox Go Cubes Chewable Coffee – A gluten-free/vegan-friendly chewable coffee alternative with the equivalent of two cups of coffee per pack.
Natralia Anti-itch Soothing Cream – A cortisone-free anti-itch cream made with natural colloidal oatmeal and menthol to relieve itchy and dry skin. It soothes irritation and rashes caused by insect bites, sunburn, poison oak, ivy, and sumac, and eczema.
Various stickers and additional product info sheets were also included.
I was super impressed with my first Daily Goodie Box. — Especially since it’s 100% free! 😉 The amount of vegan-friendly products was a nice surprise and the box itself was packed with samples. Great box!
