Danklo is a neat subscription box that sends you a variety of useful items and a random amount of cash every month. Yep, cash. Dolla, dolla bills, ya’ll!
Danklo has 3 different box options to choose from: Standard ($7.99, 1-2 items), Pro ($10.99, 1-3 items), and Prime ($13.99, 1-5 items). Whichever plan you choose, you’ll receive between $1 to $1000 in cash in every month’s box!
The products are chosen based on your interests and are generally practical items that can be used on a daily basis. You simply fill out a short questionnaire upon signing up and let them do the rest.
I was recently sent a Danklo Prime box for review and couldn’t wait to see what was inside!
Let’s open this Danklo box!
The box itself… It’s true, I couldn’t guess what was inside.
First look: Nope, still no idea what’s in there.
A little handmade info booklet included photos and details for each product in the box.
Mini Bluetooth Speaker ($12.50) – This mini speaker can sync up with any Bluetooth capable device up to 30 feet away. I tried it out with my iPhone and it works great. Bonus points for the broken English startup prompt telling me that my “Device is already ready to connect”.
Krazy Glue Fine Tip Pen ($2.14) – I had no idea this stuff came in “pen” form. So much easier than the old school tubes I grew up with. Definitely a handy thing to have on… hand.
Kinetic Sand (~$10) – I’ve always wanted to see what this stuff was all about, so I was happy to see it in my box. It’s basically sand that doesn’t dry out and feels almost like a liquid when you pour it from your hands. I played with it for a good ten minutes straight and it was strangely relaxing to feel it sift through your fingers. Cool stuff.
Blue Q Germ-A-Phobe Hand Sanitizer ($5.05) – Another super practical item. I have a gazillion of these on hand thanks to subscription boxes, but I ‘spose it doesn’t hurt to get more.
USB Car Charger ($2.99) – This little charger plugs into your car’s lighter socket and can charge two devices at the same time. It also has a built-in LED light to let you know that it’s charging.
Cold Hard Cash ($3.00) – Pretty self-explanatory. 😉 I didn’t exactly win the Danklo lottery, but it’s 3 more dollars than I had before opening the box, so… Win!
I really enjoyed my first Danklo box! I like that they sent so many practical, useful items. The kinetic sand was a great addition too… Something just about anyone could have fun with. Oh, and of course the cash. Who wouldn’t wanna get some cash in a box? So fun.
Oh yeah — the total value of everything in my box came to a little over $35. Cool!
