Let’s see what’s in the June 2022 Dark Good Yarn “Yarn of the Month Club” package!
The yarn was shipped in a dark blue (purple?) colored polymailer with the Darn Good Yarn logo printed in white.
An info card let me know that June’s Yarn of the Month was “Vibrant Peacock”!
The reverse side included a coupon code for your next purchase, as well as a QR code and code to access a free lace weight knit or crochet pattern.
“Vibrant Peacock” Lace Weight Silk Yarn (50 g / 300 yards)
This pretty recycled silk lace weight yarn features bold spirals of color in gorgeous shades of blue, pink, green, and purple — all reminiscent of a peacock’s vibrant feathers. Like all of Darn Good Yarn’s products, it was handmade and hand-dyed by their amazing artisans in India, so no two skeins are exactly alike.
The attached tag provided additional information about the subscription, as well as suggested needle and hook sizes to use with this specific yarn. According to the listing on Darn Good Yarn’s online shop, it’s best for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, embroidery, tatting, and weaving.
Darn Good Yarn’s “Yarn of the Month Club” is a great subscription for anyone who enjoys crafting with yarn. Since all of their yarn is handspun & dyed by India-based artisans using recycled materials, you’re not only receiving unique crafting materials, but you’re also supporting a community of women and the earth. 🙂 Wins all around! — Remember, for a limited time, you can save $5 on your first month with coupon code “TRY5“!
