Bulu Box is a monthly subscription that introduces you to new health, nutrition, and weight loss products. Each box contains 4 to 5 premium samples from a wide range of top brands.
There are two different box themes to choose from: The “regular” box and the weight loss box. Both boxes are just $10 a month with free shipping. There’s also a great reward points program that makes it easy (and cheap) to purchase additional boxes/products.
I was sent the December Bulu weight loss box for review. Here’s what was inside…
Tapaz 2 Go Crackers & Hummus – This is a nice little portable snack to help you eat healthy when you’re out & about. It’s got a decent sized tub of classic hummus, along with a package of lentil crackers for your dipping pleasure. The hummus is vegan, but sadly the crackers are not. 🙁
Mestrength Sports Drink Mix – Mestrength is a naturally flavored, zero calorie sports drink mix that’s free of sugar and caffeine. These ones are kiwi strawberry flavored and if I actually worked out, I’d probably be all about this kinda stuff.
Questbar Protein Bar in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough – I’ve actually got another one of these in a previous Bulu Box, but a different flavor. Since they’re not vegan (boo), I give these to my husband. He said the last one was very dense and filling. I’m a sucker for cookie dough, so I’m reeeally wishing this one was vegan. Wahhh.
Athletic Edge Nutrition LIV – If you’ve read this blog for a while, you know how I feel about single-dose supplement samples. I am NOT a fan. How can you tell how something works with only one dose? Pfft. This one is supposed to curb your appetite and “support a positive mood during dieting”. Um, I’m not sure any pill can do that. I mean, really…
Barlean’s Omega Swirl Mango Peach – Peach-flavored fish oil? Even if I wasn’t vegan, I don’t think I’d be down with this. Sure, it’s a good source of Omega 3’s, but flax seed oil is a much more appetizing option. Just sayin’.
If you’d like to try out Bulu Box for yourself, you can get your first box for 50% off (that makes it only $5!), just click here and enter the promo code “BULUGAN363” at checkout! 🙂
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post contains affiliate links.
Do you not take fish oils because of veganism?
Yep! Though I’m not sure I would be cool with it even if I weren’t vegan. Just the thought of eating oil from fishies grosses me out. 😉
Thanks for the discount code! Signed up for three months and hoping I like it.
😀
I hope so too!
