Let’s see what’s in the August 2018 Degustabox!
As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
The Good Crisp Company Original Potato Crisps ($3.49)
A healthier alternative to those other tubed chips (lookin’ at you, Pringles), these ones are made with all natural ingredients. They use non-GMO potatoes and are completely free of any artificial flavors or colors. They’re gluten-free too!
Colombina Mixed Berries Breakfast Biscuits (~$3)
A product of Colombia, these breakfast “biscuits” (aka cookies) are individually wrapped in 3-packs for easily enjoying on the go. Each 3-cookie serving has just 120 calories and 5 grams of sugar. They’re also free of both artificial flavors and colors.
High Brew Coffee Double Espresso Cold Brew ($2.50)
A low calorie, pre-made cold brew espresso drink made with fairly traded ingredients including high quality Arabica coffee beans, reduced fat milk, and natural sugar. One serving has just 50 calories and can be enjoyed straight from the can or poured over ice.
Prince of Peace Lemon Ginger Chews ($1.99)
Yum! — I’ve been a fan of these chewy ginger candies for a while now and am always happy to see them pop up in subscription boxes. They’re made with real ginger and have a satisfyingly spicy kick. This particular variety also adds a burst of tart lemon to the mix.
Post Frosted Chocolate Strawberry Shredded Wheat ($3.49)
Okay, so this might not look quite as healthy as some of the other items in this month’s box, but it may be a clever way for me to get my kids to eat Shredded Wheat. 😉 Not only is it chocolate flavored and covered in strawberry frosting, but it’s also filled with even MORE chocolate inside. Woah.
PR Bar Chocolate Peanut Endurance Bar ($1.99)
An all natural protein bar that claims to increase body fat consumption during exercise, reduce hunger, and promote mental clarity & focus. It’s gluten-free and contains a whopping 15 grams of protein per serving.
Wise Bravos Stadium Nacho Flavored Tortilla Chips ($1)
These crunchy tortilla chips are made with real nacho cheese and spicy jalapeño flavor to mimic the taste of fresh “stadium nachos” from the ballpark. Two single-serve bags were included in August’s box.
Ready Nutrition Pink Grapefruit Protein Water ($2.50)
An all natural protein drink loaded with 15 grams of whey-based protein per bottle. It’s gluten free and has just 70 calories and zero grams of sugar.
Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix ($1.49)
A pecan pie inspired snack consisting of dry-roasted pecans, walnuts, dried cherries, apples, and cinnamon — all coated in a sweet glaze. Yum!
Country Archer Jerky Co. Sweet BBQ Pork Bar ($3)
An all natural meat snack made with pork raised without any antibiotics. It’s also free of nitrates, gluten, soy, and MSG. Each serving contains 15 grams of protein and only 140 calories.
Popcorn Indiana Movie Theater Popcorn (~$1)
Movie theater style popcorn made with real butter and non-GMO corn. It’s gluten-free and contains no artificial flavors, high fructose corn syrup, or trans fats.
Colombina Amazon Sweet Chili Sauce ($3.69)
An all natural, vegan-friendly sweet chili sauce made with a blend of cayenne peppers and tropical spices. Ideal for Chinese and Japanese cuisine or anything that can use a bold hit of flavor.
Another jam-packed box of pantry staples, snacks, and more from Degustabox! My personal favorites this time were the Prince of Peace Ginger Chews, Good Crisp Company Potato Crisps, and Sahale Snacks Maple Pecan Mix. — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $9.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “CJOFFER18” at checkout!
