Time to review the February 2017 Degustabox!
If you haven’t heard, Degustabox is a new subscription box that sends an assortment of food and drink products to your door every month. Each box will feature at least 10 full-sized products (as well as samples) from a variety of high quality brands. Items can include popcorn, jams, snack bars, beverages, condiments, nut butters, candies, nuts, and more. The mission of Degustabox is to help introduce you to new brands and products for less that you’d pay for them in store. The total value will always exceed the cost of the monthly subscription.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $19.99/month with free shipping within the US. —For a limited time, you can get your first box for just $9.99 shipped! No coupon code needed. (If the link doesn’t automatically take $10 off, you can use coupon code “8717R” at checkout.)
Let’s see what’s in the February 2017 Degustabox!
Everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside! – As always, everything was securely packed beneath a layer of air pillows.
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Popchips Ridges ($3.18)
Popchips are crispy potato snacks that are “popped” (using heat and pressure) instead of deep fried. They’re gluten free and contain no trans fats, artificial flavors, colors, or added preservatives. The box include two flavors: Tangy Barbeque and Salted.
Green & Black’s Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt ($3.49)
Awww yeah! — A vegan-friendly chocolate bar. 🙂 I’ve already opened this up and it’s delicious. It features smooth dark chocolate (70% cacao) blended with flakes of Anglesey sea salt for a rich, yet slightly salty flavor and crunch that makes it a lot more addictive than plain dark chocolate. 😉
Jones Orange & Cream Soda ($1.79)
Okay, I totally want to snuggle with that little piggy on the label… So stinkin’ CUTE. We received a pumpkin pie flavored Jones soda in a previous box, which was interesting but not awesome. I have much higher hopes for this orange cream flavor though!
Walkers Shortbread Rounds ($4.49)
Classic shortbread cookies made with just four ingredients — butter, flour, sugar, and a touch of salt. These look insanely good and are making me seriously crave some (vegan-friendly) Lorna Doone shortbread cookies. 😉
Slendier Shirataki Noodle ($2.49)
These pre-cooked noodles are made with organic konjac flour and have just 10 calories per serving. I’ve seen similar products in the supermarket but have never been brave enough to purchase them… Now I have no excuse. (Though I’m still scared!)
Grace Coco Chips ($2.99)
100% pure coconut chips made from the meat of mature coconuts. They’re preservative free and low in sugar. Enjoy them on their own or sprinkled on ice cream, yogurt, or anything else that could use a satisfying crunch of pure coconut.
PR Bar Chocolate Peanut ($2.07)
An all natural protein bar that claims to increase body fat consumption during exercise, reduce hunger, and promote mental clarity & focus. It’s gluten-free and contains a whopping 15 grams of protein per serving.
Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce ($5.99)
Peri Peri is one of the most popular South African condiments in the world. It contains a blend of natural ingredients including sun ripened lemons, spices, Peri Peri (African Bird’s Eye Chili), and garlic. It can be used as a dip or to give flavor to just about any meal.
Bandar Spicy Mango Chili Sauce (samples)
These weren’t included on the info card, so they must just be a little bonus item. The sauce can be used on eggs, rice, burritos, pizza, hamburgers, and more. It’s all natural and contains no artificial colors or preservatives.
Another great selection of items from Degustabox! My favorites this month were the (vegan!!) chocolate bar, orange cream soda, coconut chips, and hot sauce. The total value of all the items in February’s box was over $26. Not quite as high as previous months, but still over the monthly cost of the box. — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $9.99 shipped! No coupon code needed. (If the link doesn’t automatically take $10 off, you can use coupon code “8717R” at checkout.)

Ha! Good question. I totally didn’t notice that they weren’t included. Ah well. 😉
