Let’s see what’s in the February 2018 Degustabox!
As always, everything was shipped in a big box with the Degustabox logo on the side.
A peek inside!
An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Boboli Thin Crust Pizza Crust ($3.99)
A 12-inch pre-made pizza crust perfect for whipping up a quick pie at home without having to make your own dough. One of my daughters has been all about pizza lately, so this will get used in no time.
Boboli Pizza Sauce ($2.75)
To go along with the pizza crust, Degustabox also included a box of Boboli traditional Italian pizza sauce. The package contained 3 separate sauce packets — enough to cover 3 standard size pizzas.
Lundberg Grounded Snacks Aged White Cheddar Tortilla Chips ($3.29)
Organic tortilla chips made with whole grains including red rice & quinoa and flavored with real aged white cheddar cheese. They’re also gluten-free and non-GMO.
Goya Refried Black Beans ($1.39)
I love black beans, but have never tried them “refried” style. These have been fully cooked and seasoned, making them incredibly easy to prepare (just heat!). I’ll definitely be trying these out on our next taco night!
Goya Refried Pinto Beans ($1.09)
More refried beans! These ones are made with cooked pinto beans which have also been seasoned and are ready to simply heat & eat.
Sir Kensington’s Spicy Ketchup ($4.99)
Non-GMO ketchup with a spicy kick. Ingredients include tomatoes, organic sugar, onions, jalapeños, green bell peppers, and cilantro. It contains absolutely no high fructose corn syrup and has 50% less sugar than traditional ketchups.
Tiger Tail Classic Mustard ($1.99)
A classic, small batch mustard made with Southern pride in Dyersburg, Tennessee. All natural ingredients include vinegar, mustard seed, turmeric, and paprika powder. I rarely buy mustard on my own, but I don’t mind having it around for Tofurky sandwiches and pretzel bites. 🙂
Mrs. Renfro’s Craft Beer Salsa ($3.49)
Gourmet salsa made with Texas Red American amber beer, tomatoes, onion, brown sugar, jalapeño peppers, cilantro, and more. Use it as a dip, marinade, chili base, or to add more flavor to whatever you choose.
Luna Bars – Lemonzest (~$2)
I’ve always enjoyed Luna Bars, but haven’t bought them in quite a while. This Lemonzest flavor was one of my favorites and these “mini bars” make for a great mid-afternoon snack.
The Spice Hunter Coriander Lime Rub ($4.99)
A Thai-inspired spice blend consisting of garlic, coriander, sea salt, onion, crystallized lime, cilantro, cumin, and more. Use it as a rub for tofu, chicken, and fish or sprinkle on vegetables to add a fragrant, citrusy flavor.
A useful assortment of great pantry staples this month from Degustabox! My favorite items this time were the refried beans, spicy ketchup, Luna bars, pizza sauce, and mustard. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $9.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “CJOFFER18” at checkout!
